Pizza is fine, not great, not terrible. The crust is thin and crunchy which I like, but it could be a bit saltier, it seems that without ingredients on top of it - it would be tasteless. The staff is super nice, and the beach view is pretty. I had a margherita and even though it was not spectacular - it was quite refreshing compared to thai food I’ve been eating so far. The food is good, definitely not the best pizza I have ever had like other reviews suggest but really decent for Thailand and Koh Pangan. If you want an italian lunch, I don’t think there is a better place nearby. The restaurant didn’t had water for the toilet or to wash hands, it’s a bucket style splashing. “Cucina Italiana” is a beachfront treasure in Koh Phangan, offering the best homemade pasta and pizza I’ve ever ever had in Thailand 🇹🇭. For 22 years, they’ve mastered the art of Italian cuisine, blending a unbiased italian ambiance with a twist of thai smiles on a stunning beach views. Their dishes, particularly the pasta, are out of this world . Highly recommend for a taste of Italy in paradise! You would not expect this hole in the wall place to have such great authentic Italian food!!!!! the owner Italian chef is there cooking every night... you have to pass him in his "open air" kitchen as you walk out to the tables by the beach. He is always there with a big smile greeting guests with a big"Buonasera!" the food is fabulous. Great red sauce! Good pizza! Best pizza in Thailand, truly classic Italian. We enjoyed our pizzas so much that we even ordered an extra one as dessert. Quattro Fromage, highly recommended. And the location is just stunning! You truly feel like you're in Italy for a moment. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The Italian owner was busy in the kitchen but greeted us warmly. One thing we found particularly special was that we were immediately served a free carafe of water, which is a first for us in Thailand after many years! Normally, we don't drink wine in Thailand, but here we made an exception. We had a good red wine by Thai standards, and paying 300 baht for a half-liter of wine is very reasonable. We will definitely come back when we're on Koh Phangan again, and I recommend everyone to put this restaurant on their to-do list. Exceptional quality food. Hospitality like the good old days, brings back memories of a time long forgotten. The sounds of the waves and garlic roasting away. Fabulous. Quite possibly the best Italian food in Asia, certainly the best meal on Koh Phangan. The prices/value make it even more enjoyable and keep us going back each visit to the island regardless if which area we're staying. Love the owners and their staff as well. Be aware than from now until late November, though, they're only serving pizza, but that's no real problem since the pizza is fantastic.
