Wasn’t satisfied at all! I spent approx $95 after the cash discount. We ordered: Red beans (2 out if 10): no flavor at all, very dry and the bowl had more rice than beans! The white rice was decent. Cat fish nuggets (1 out 10): This definitely wasn’t catfish. Maybe swai? I cook a lot of catfish and have never tasted any like this! Or seen any this big! The breading wasn’t even good. Bowl of gumbo (7/10): This was the best thing in the entire order although it could’ve had more sausage meat but there were a good amount of shrimp. Lump crab cake (1/10): First off this way over priced for the size of the ball. The breading tastes like cardboard. No flavor in the breading. I couldn’t get past the outter to enjoy the center that also didn’t have flavor. Banana pudding (6.5/10): We enjoyed it. Daiquiris were very sweet but it’s to be expected. Overall, I really had hope based on the reviews but won’t be trying again. Priced way too high for the quality with no taste. We threw away everything except the gumbo and pudding. Went in 9/26/23 and purchased a seafood box with extra crab and sausage.The crab is small and scarce the seasoning is quite mid however, the portion of shrimp was great along with butter sauce.The service was welcoming and good nonetheless 3 stars on my part because my food was cold. Not sure where to start. I ordered food and it was a major disappointment. The food was cold, the tomatoes were old and the bread was soggy. The sandwich was not cut in half nor folded. As I held the sandwich the tomatoes and shrimp fell in my lap. I guess my standards of were too high. I attached pictures. I will never eat at this establishment again

If you're craving a boil, be careful. My first boil was salty instead of spicy. My shrimp was not deveined in the 2nd one. I will stick to my gumbo and fried catfish going forward. I love their friendly customer service. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

Amazing!! I like the hypnotic daiquiri, tastes really good. Fries were hot and FRESH which is the one thing that I love about a meal. The wait is worth it!!! That’s how you know it’s fresh and made on the spot. The kook-aid pickles were amazing!! We even ordered vodka pickles. Can’t wait to come back. The customer service was awesome.

I had the catfish nuggets and fries with an order of red beans and rice. Everything was seasoned perfectly and I will definitely be going back. As a black man, I enjoy supporting black businesses. My support is measured by cost, service and cleanliness. On my first visit, the first thing I noticed was, the lady at the front counter had the biggest frown on her face as though she didn't want to be bothered. Nevertheless, I ordered a 3 pc catfish basket. The lady was extremely rude and unfriendly as the frown continued. The food however, was pretty good, but I ordered three large catfish pcs and she gave me one small container of tarter sauce. I had to ask the gentleman that came from the back for extra taurter sauce. The hushpuppies were not very fresh and somewhat small. Again, the food wasn't bad, but only because of the terrible customer svc and rude behavior from the older lady at the front counter, we won't be coming back.
