Great lunch at Craft House Fashion Valley! We sat on the dog friendly patio which was nice and spacious. We ordered the lobster roll, blackened salmon blt, and chicken blt. All tasted great, the sweet potato and salad sides are also really good. Very friendly server and not too long of a wait for the food. Would recommend, one of the better restaurants at the mall.

We tried multiple dishes and drinks. I really liked the ceviche (a bit spicier but it’s the way I liked it) and coconut cocktail. Their sliders were great. I would come back to try more dishes. Service wise though, it seems like they were not very organized yet. It took a bit longer to get the food and drinks.

Fashion Valley Mall finally has a decent spot for food and cocktails! Every fish we tried was delicious and beautifully prepared. Cocktails were all creative and tasty. Definitely going to be our go-to spot at Fashion!

What a great luncheon. We enjoyed a mocktail, Bahn mi sandwich, chips/guacamole, and short rib tacos. The restaurant is quite crowded inside but may have a lovely patio if the weather is right.

Banh MI Sandwich
I brought my wife here for a date night dinner. We were greeted by Tamara which we later learned was the wife of one of the owners. She was super friendly and inviting. We got a table fairly fast and in a spot we wanted. She made sure we were taken care of in the meanwhile that our server was able to get to us. She offered some suggestions and thanked us for coming in. Our server, Carter, was also great. He was very attentive and courteous. My wife tried the coco margarita which she loved. So much she had seconds! I had the Baja Burger. Let me say that it’s one of the tastiest burgers I had in a while. Also, the chips n guacamole were delicious. A place like this, is easy to come back. We hope to visit the Del Mar location soon.

I have to say, the Craft House Mission Valley has some good things going there.
I came in for lunch and ordered the pork belly bites, a little gem Caesar salad, and the Blackened Salmon BLT.
I started with pork belly bites, and they were certainly a great choice. The pork belly was delicious and tender, not to mention beautifully presented on the plate with mini corn tortillas as the vessels. Loved the pickled onions and sauces that came on the plate.
The little gem Caesar was larger than I expected. So, yes, you get the big "salad" here. It was delicious, and I appreciated the fact that I could taste the subtle flavor of anchovies. I loved the large crunchy croutons and the heavy dose of Parmesan cheese.
The Blackened Salmon BLT was good. I did wish that the salmon portion was about 2 oz larger and that they would consider blacking it a little more. Other than that, it was a good sandwich. The bacon was outstanding on this BLT. It was thick with a good crispness and had a great chew.
Kurt, my server was very cool and an extremely efficient individual. Liz, the bar keeper, and the server as well was very nice and pleasant to chat with. They have a good team here.
I look forward to returning.

Went to the mall the week before Christmas and the mall was packed. We went exploring and found this place, that the servers told us was only a few months old, and it was not that busy. We decided to give it a try.
Though the actual space is on the smaller side, it really makes due with the atmosphere and the food. I'm personally not a big fan of buffalo sauce. On the recommendation of our server, we tried the buffalo cauliflower, and I couldn't stop raving about the sauce. It was so good. The flavor was out of this world and to the point that I didn't even care I still had an entree coming. (The entree was also really good.)
They used locally sourced ingredients, especially breads for their sandwiches, so everything was as fresh as can be. So happy we gave it a try and looking forward to our next visit.

Great spot at Fashion mall. Carter is an exemplar of thoughtful and attentive service. Highly recommend the octopus, steak frites and shroom burger. Looking forward to visiting again.

Out doing some Christmas shopping and decided to try this place for the first time simply to avoid fighting traffic. Wow, were we glad we did. Service was attentive without being overpowering. My wife and I shared two dishes: the charred octopus and the mussels. The octopus was excellent, but the mussels stole the show, with a creamy sauce flavored by onions and chorizo that was simply one of the best dishes I have ever had. Add in really good wine and live music from a talented singer and it was a perfect dining experience. We never found the Christmas gifts we were looking for but who cares?

Incredible food (sooo delicious!). We try to get to their Sky Deck Del Mar location as much as we can. Now we have this closer Fashion Valley location we're thrilled about. Their menu is awesome. The family that owns these restaurants are hard-working, good people. Their energy is amazing, we love supporting them. Awesome staff. Indoor and outdoor dining. We can't wait to go back.
