At this restaurant, guests may have perfectly cooked potato casserole, bacon and hamburgers. Here you will be offered good blueberry pancakes, biscuits and muffins. A lot of visitors order great coffee. Cracker Barrel is well known for its great service and friendly staff, that is always ready to help you. Prices here are reported to be attractive. You will definitely appreciate the lovely atmosphere and modern decor. But google users haven't given this place a high rating.

Cracker Barrel has just gone down completely. There was a time when I would go 2 to 3 times a week. Now every time I give them a chance it’s nothing but disappointment. And then when you bring it to Mgmt attention they have the most unprofessional unpleasant attitudes. The one in Tuscaloosa Al is by far the worst!! I wouldn’t want it even if it was free!!🤮 Nothing fresh! Over cooked shrimp, like chewing rubber. Beef tips dry tenders fried in old grease biscuits were not fresh and burned on top pancakes were like not fresh and rubbery. Never again and I waited 47 minutes for it to go!! I’m so disappointed in Cracker Barrel and myself for going. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
As tourists passing through Alabama, we were intrigued to experience a well-known American restaurant franchise. To our surprise, it wasn't a particularly busy day, but the wait time exceeded our expectations. Despite our hunger, we had to exercise patience. The menu offered a wide array of options, and the restaurant exuded an authentic atmosphere. However, we were disappointed by the cleanliness of the establishment, as it fell below our standards. The photo you see is of the lunch I ordered, which came with optional, no-surcharge sides of mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. Regrettably, the entire meal was excessively greasy, making it too heavy to consume more than a few bites. Price per person $20–30

The food was good, but it took 30 minutes to get, and the restaurant was 1/3 capacity. Also, the portions seemed small with 12 pieces of fried okra and 7 fries. My server Justin was exceptionally. It began with a warning: our family met up at the hotel and we searched Yelp for restaurants. Yelp’s review was 2.5 stars, with 152 reviews at the time. Despite this, the family elders decreed we would trust Cracker Barrel with our dinner. We had a large party, so we expected a wait for our table. We were quoted 30 minutes but waited an hour(none of the times are exaggerated in this review, by the way). 15 minutes at the table: waters, and orders were taken. At this point we find out this particular Cracker Barrel is out of green beans, broccoli, and macaroni and cheese - 24 minutes later, we are mercifully given biscuits and are told “the kids’ orders were put in first and are going to be out in a few minutes, which obviously did not bode well for the rest of the food. After the kids had eaten and subsequently gotten bored, we finally decided we would just call it and pay for the kids’ food. We ended up eating the fruit from our hotel lobby for dinner. So… 1 star. On the bright side, I did find this horrifying toy in the line to pay(which took another 12 minutes).

My husband and I are traveling across country and visited this store. As we walked in, all was well. The hostess greeted us and said there would be a 20 minute wait and took our name and asked for a phone number. I asked "what's the phone number for". She said to text me when a table is ready. I was confused because half of the restaurant was empty, and the parking lot was half full, but OK. I took pictures of the seating area at that time. Sure enough after 20 minutes we were stated. A pleasant waitresses did take our order in a timely fashion. I took more pictures. It took 48 minutes to get our food. A simple kids chicken strip meal and a lunch sampler. In the meantime several staff members walked around with little sense of urgency. Other customers waited a long time as well. The hostess would only clean a table when they seated customers at that table. The food was not hot and fresh as you would expect from waiting so long. Not good at all. I asked for and spoke to the manager Tracy. She was not aware that the hostess was putting people on a 20 minutes wait. I never saw her during the 12:30 business hour until I asked for her. This was an unpleasant experience. I will go to Crakel Barrel again because I know that as a whole, they are better than this. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
Have given Cracker Barrel so many opportunities, - no more. Yes, it was Sunday after gsme day - we expexted a bit of a wait, but... Arrived at 1030, didn't finish for 2+ hours. I even asked the manager how the kitchen was doing - "just fine - no problems". Waited 70 minutes on a 45 min wait given, waited over an hour for food. Waitress and floor manager - not good. Order came out cold, worng and incomplete. Save yourself some time and get a better meal - Waffle House is across the street. Did not have a good experience today. We got to the restaurant and there was no wait (which was good!) - they were not busy at all. My fiancé and I sat down and saw at least 5 servers waiting on tables all around us, but no one ever greeted us. After about 15-20 minutes, our server Candace finally came over. We ordered our food and drinks all at once since it had taken her so long to get to us. We then waited almost 10 more minutes before our drinks came to the table. We did not receive any biscuits with our breakfast like we were supposed to. She had 1 other table in our section (that finished and left about halfway through our experience) but yet she barely came to our table at all. We had to ask 2 times for a refill of our drinks. Once the food finally came (which was good), she left the check with us and never came back to the table. The food was good but the service was not. Will deter us from returning in the future. Definitely needs to be a food check before sending out. It was handled quickly. The hostess was very friendly and caring in making my issue right. Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $1–10 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
The absolute worst Cracker Barrel in the US. Took forever to get food. We had 6 people and she brought 6 burnt biscuits and 2 jelly’s and no butter. Asked for more jelly and she got us 2 more after waitress rolled her eyes. Asked for over medium eggs, they were cold and hard as rocks. Had pancakes with no butter. Never refilled my tea. $ 100 wasted. I don’t if its management or the owner but this one needs to close and reopen with new everybody. We weren’t the only ones with problems. Saw 2 more tables taking to a manager or supervisor. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $50–100 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
I was a guest last Friday morning. And I over heard a white Man complaining two black young ladies sitting beside them. He didn’t wanna sit beside black people. The young ladies were so uncomfortable that they got up and left without even ordering anything. Cracker Barrel said nothing. They did nothing. Unacceptable. Racist business
