Awesome place! The staff is Amazing. The food is great. Recommend the meatloaf and chicken and dumplings! You have to the beignets! They are perfect deep fried and soft in the middle. The sauce is heavenly! Don't forget the cornbread! The store has lots of stuff including cast iron skillets. Fried catfish with hush puppies and 2 sides. My meal was delicious! I drove a basketball team there after the games in La Junta. The Charles Chips were also pretty tasty! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Food was okay. Big servings with a lot of options. Kinda crowded and we felt rushed to leave. We were still in the middle of our meal when servers were offering us take out boxes already! I had never been to a cracker Barrel restaurant before until today. Let me just say they didn't disappoint! The food was superb!👌 I had steak tips, shrimp🍤, mashed potatoes, and mac & cheese🧀. We also had fried pickles for an appetizer, which was amazing! The biscuits and cornbread muffins were the best I've ever had. Our waitress was also super patient and sweet. Maybe the crew was having a bad day! First we sat for over 10 minutes to even have waitress come to our table. We order. Another 5 minutes before drinks come. She came to table and said your order is #3. At this point we had been there over half hour. We told her this & she said sometimes things cook faster?? So hour and ten minutes before we get food. Then she forgets corn muffins(we didn't get those until we left) she said I will get the manager. But nope didn't come. We go to pay and ask for manager to see what he will do. " I was busy in kitchen" not cooking our food. So he took a whole $5.00 off meal. Same on all of you at this location!! Guess we should have thrown a fit. But that is not who we are!! My Boyfriend and I had reservations at 6:30, it took twenty minutes after arriving to be sat. There were many open tables, when we finally did get sat, the hostess sat us dead center in the middle of the dining room surrounded by large groups of family’s, once again there were many open tables. We asked the hostess to be sat at a table that wasn’t near everybody and she acted as if she didn’t hear and walked away. We sat there for 20 minutes without being greeted by a server nor the manager that was walking around. We were uncomfortable at that table and it was very loud sitting next to a few different tables full of family’s, so we decided to move tables. We sat at that table for another 10 minutes while servers were walking around. Eventually we stopped the manager and told him about our experience so far and he said “I’ll see if I can find somebody.” And preceded to walk away. I asked him, could you atleast bring us waters, we’re pretty thirsty. He brought us waters and walked away. We sat for another 5-10 minutes before a server greeted us, and by that point I was ready to leave, but my boyfriend was hungry and it was a holiday so we decided to stay. The server was very understanding, when I explained everything that had been happening and that I was very upset. He was very attentive and made sure everything from that moment on was taken care of and even apologized for the manager’s behavior. I have always loved Cracker Barrel, and unfortunately the next closest store is about 30 minutes away. But with the experience we had tonight, I will gladly drive that extra 30 minutes to be provided with proper service and to deal with staff that actually care. 5/14/23- About average for a Cracker Barrel and that's why I gave them the average score of 3 stars. Didn't get to eat here since they were super busy. This is also one of the few Cracker Barrels to have free wifi. Good variety of geeky products. Meal type Other Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Good place for breakfast/ brunch. Had an excellent dinner with family. The decor is rustic a lot of antiques on the walls. Good comfort food. I suggest having the meatloaf and two sides. A good pick is the mashed potatoes and steak fries. Mashed potatoes come with white gravey but brown gravey is available on request. Coke is on tap a little costly at 3.49 a glass. No free refills. Ice tea is available at 3.09. A vintage store is attached to restaurant, selling stuff from the past in New packaging. Stuff like old style candy and sodas are available. Most of the stuff is tourist prices so be wary and watch your littles you break it you buy it. My friends and I had a good time at this restaurant. Our server Amanda was great. Lesley at checkout was very sweet. She helped my friend and I pick out candles. I would have like the appetizers to be more quantity for the price we paid for them such as the beignets and cheese curds. The silverware also may need to be washed twice or polished.
