Went to the location in Grapevine, Andrea the night manager is very sarcastic, she had an attitude the whole time she was on the phone. Response for everything was ok???!!!!!! I called because I spent $45 on food that they decided to throw in styrofoam to go containers and close pipping hot didn’t bother to open the vent holes so the food sweat and ruined two hamburgers. The buns were soggy we went ahead and replaced them with regular bread. Got fried pickles that were also closed into a Togo container while as hot as they could be and became soggy and floppy. The ranch inside the fried pickle container was hot and the plastic container they put it in the top was raised on due to the hotness of the items. The paper they put under the food was soggy and stuck to the food. When explained to her she had an attitude the whole time. I asked for the corporate number she told me she couldn’t give me the number but it could be found online I asked what website and again with sarcasm and an attitude she told me where I could find it. Told her she had a f&$@ing attitude and her true colors shined bright. Only time I even cursed at her, I use this location during the day and it is amazing service is great but due to Andrea and her soggy attitude are the reason I will not go back.

We just ate at the Cotton Patch in Bryan, Texas and we had the most wonderful waiter named Larry. He was so nice. We had all you could eat catfish and he was always there to see if we needed anything else. Very good waiter. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I love eating at Cotton Patch whenever my husband and I travel to South Texas. I would have given five stars for the food(which is very good), but they have removed some very good items that I and my husband like to eat. I'm sure we are not the only ones. 😥😥 Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

I went to cotton patch 12/29/22 around 7:30 pm. Waiter Taye came to take our appetizer / food order if we we're ready. Told us the rolls wasn't ready for 10 minutes within 3 minutes my group of 4 noticed rolls taken to another table. He finally brought rolls. We had no silverware or saucers on the table. He constantly kept going to hold a conversation while we're trying to get his attention of letting him know we didn't have utensils. I Went to the rest room to wash my hand before eating as well as the main food coming out. No soap in the rest rooms all 3 toilets nasty. The floor was sticky. Even near the walk-in left off hostess food on the floor when we arrived no one had yet cleaned up by the time we left. We talk to the manager he stated short staff. We order meals my brother had burger and frie. His fries were cold. They then brought another batch that was over cooked. My sister had chicken fried steak with gravy in which was very rare with totally red on the inside. I ordered chicken fried chicken squash & salad. My squash looked as if they took it straight from the refrigerator. Sent it back. By the time we were getting ready to leave I remembered they never brought my hot squash. My husband ordered chicken fried chicken with mash potatoes & broccoli. Unfortunately, his brocolli never came on his plate. I will NEVER eat there again. The manager gave all excuses. So I will be calling the health department as well. IF I'M A CUSTOMER THAT CANT WASH MY HANDS #1. What does that tell you about the employees when they go to the rest room. I’ve had several bad experiences with the Cedar Hill location. This past visit was just too much. The ladies room had one stall that was out of order and the other toilet was jammed with toilet paper and so I reported to the manager. Next the waiter took our drink order, simple, water for everyone. Then came back about 10 minutes later to take our food order, still no drinks. Brought our food, no utensils or drinks. Finally received everything we needed to enjoy our luke-warm food. When I discovered some colored liquid on my plate. Nearly tossed my cookies then. Reported to manager, taken off my bill, but will not go back to the Cedar Hill location.
Ate at your cafe located in Lubbock Texas located on 6810 Slide Road/ reception on arriving wasnt friendly was seated at a booth had to get up was filthy table and seats tried to move to another also filthy took exceptional long for our drinks to arrive then server didn’t return for a long period for our order 8/27/22 8 PM while we waited notice another table had to yell to get a refill on drinks, also observed when other tables were cleared absolutely none were ever wiped down food on the floors. Our meal took longer than usual to arrive the restaurant wasn’t that busy. Will think very long and hard to return very disappointed Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30
I love Cotton Patch. But today on Veterans Day like last year went to eat. WE even asked if they were still honoring veterans and the staff said yes. After we ordered and ate they told us that only chicken fried steak or chicken fried chicken was allowed for vets. There were several other veterans there also who got the same surprise. the staff claimed they just found out but then said people were complaining all afternoon about it. I told them that they should have told us up front or at least posted that info at the front door. they said sorry and we paid the full tab and left a good tip because there is such a thing as HONOR which they did not do!
WE had a late lunch today,7/18, in Mansfield. There we some people there but it was not too busy, we were seated right a way. Our Ticket Number was 1052 / Table 51. It was just my wife and me today. We ordered Fried Green Tomatoes, that were hot and wonderful. We also ordered a side salad and cup of Chicken Tortilla Soup. The Salad was fine but the soup and the rest of our meal today was just barely above room temperature (except for the gravy on our Chicken Fried Steaks). My wife ordered Chicken Fried Steak, Cheesy Broc. Rice & Okera. As I said her meal was not hot at all, except for the gravy, and she only took one bite of the casserole, it was bad. I had Chicken Fried Steak, Corn and Baked Potato. The Potato was not completely cooked. Nothing on my plate was hot, except for the gravy. It also seemed like our server just didn't care. We had to ask for napkins, salt & pepper and rolls. I also asked for a refill. When ever we asked for something, it took him a long time to return with the item. The only time he was quick was when he ran my Credit Card. Our experience was very disappointing. It will be a long time before we go back again.
This has to be the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a restaurant. At 5:41 pm we called in an to go order for two adult meals and two children's meals. At 6:55 pm an order was brought out that contained one meal and was not anything that we ordered. At 7:10 pm I went in to get a refund since we still not did get our order. The man stated that he would get our refund. After waiting another 10 minutes he said our order was ready and ask if I still wanted the refund. I said no since it was ready and I had two hungry kids to feed. I finally got the order and it was missing one meal and two drinks. I again ask for the rest of our food. I waited another 10 minutes and finally gave up. What I did get was wrong and substitutions were made without asking us. After almost two hours of waiting I paid for food I didn't get and what I did get was wrong. We didn't get rolls or gravy for our steak fingers. I understand they were very busy but if they can't handle the number of orders they were receiving they should just say that and give people an option to order elsewhere. I will never go back and a simple apology for the services would have made a huge difference. There were 3 or 4 people waiting on orders that had placed theirs before we did and still had not gotten them.
We have attempt to eat at Cotton Patch in Burleson 3 times. The service has been horrible, the food has been incorrect or burned. The management was awful. Didn't really care and very very unorganized. We then tried to order through Uber Éats. 20 minutes later, we received a cancelation. The app says the restaurant canceled the order. I know they had the order because I called and they added extra gravy to the order. So I called Cotton Patch and the manager said they didn't ever have that order. Complete lié and then said he didn't have the ability to cancel an order. Extremely rude and unhelpful. Corporate is no better. Sure wish Black Eyed Pea was still around!
