The place is very grand. Service was good and fast but before we could finish our dishes they would take away the food... Not good for slow eaters 😅 We just got set A and some others dishes, food was good quality and presented nicely. Good place for celebrations, we went there for my grandmother’s birthday and overall it was a memorable experience. One of the better fine Chinese dining halls around the Subang USJ area. The location and size of the lot makes this upper end restaurant a popular choice for hosting grand Chinese wedding receptions. Aside from that, there are also smaller private reception rooms within for family or corporate functions as well. You can also book a table just for dinner on the day itself. This is advisable as the place is usually booked for weddings and corporate events towards the end of the week. Asides from fine dining, many folks come here for morning yumcha sessions over dimsum. The food here is on par if not better than some of the more popular fine dining Chinese restaurants around the Klang Valley. There may be better places, but the level of service and attention here puts it on par with those landmarks. Even the recent family dinner here was really well hosted by the restaurant crew. The house tea was consistent and not overtly strong nor was it watered down either. Taking this metric into account and you know the food served will have some level of greatness to it. And it was really good so much so, my kid put in a double thumbs up for this place. If that's any indication, this place is warmly recommended all the same. The restaurant is beautiful, but the food was only decent. I'm not sure if it's because the dishes we ordered aren't their specialty. The Peking duck skin with egg roll is good, but the duck meat is dry. We also tried the Dongpo yok with mantou, salad prawns, steamed grouper, and luohan zhai. They were just okay. The dimsum here is nice, the ingredients are fresh however there's a room for some improvement. But undeniable the atmosphere is nice, clean and comfortable to dine with. We reach here at 11.45am, there were many empty table on Weekday. We like this place compare to other famous dim sum restaurant, here is more peaceful, not so crowded. We like their Cheong Fun with Crispy filling & vegi which might not be able to find in normal dim sum restaurant, & it taste great. The porridge portion is very big with many fish fillets but the price is really value too. The fried Carrot shape glutinous dumplings with fried groundnuts inside is very tasty Siew bau was to our taste too. Pork ribs is tasty but a bit small piece with not much meat. 1 of the best Chinese Restaurant Dim Sum in Subang & USJ. Love this place compare to the famous dim sum spot in Taipan as here is more peaceful, not so crowded, better service & got plenty of available table. They also got big table for big family gathering here can seat more than 10 peoples. They got big variety of Cheong Fun which might not able to find in normal dim sum restaurant, & it taste great. The porridge portion & price is really value. I would recommend of if the dim sum I ordered except for the steam fish paste, it’s pretty hard. They open at 10.30am on any Public Holiday. All round 5 star Chinese restaurant in USJ. True 5-star restaurants are far and few in USJ. Enjoyed their Peking duck - had the nice quality and flavours of a good Peking duck. I suggest that we pre-book the Peking duck - get a better one and more prepared service from the staff. Wasnt a fan of the noodles that they whipped up using the duck meat - can try something else next time. Hot n sour soup was also flavourful tho a bit spicy. My sister did her wedding luncheon here and we enjoyed the food. We came back to try their dishes and it was still good. Next we need to come back and try their dim sum. Seems it is a hit on weekends. The place easy to find and comes with ample parking. May be overcrowded during festivities. Best to call and make reservations. Food here is really so-so. For that price, better to dine in other establishments. One nice item here is the Truffle oil noodles, though. Other than that, give the dim sum a pass. We had simple green vege, river wild patin fish, lap mei fan (waxed meat rice), and mexico prok rib. Foods are good, there's still room to improve. Service is good, it could be better if they pay attention to the details. The atmosphere is nice. Prefer the storage area, and some fence to cover up would be nicer and tidier when the customer walks past. I am looking forward to returning for more.
