Ordered a custom decorated cake from Cold Stone. Charged $43 the day before and this is what they delivered. Talked with 2 supervisors about a refund. Told the manager would contact me. Never heard a word from anyone. Birthday was ruined do to laziness and shady business practices. I would be embarrassed to present this to anyone, let alone not offer a complete refund. Lost my business for ever.

Best birthday cake ever Hot Cocoa Avalanche. If you love chocolate and marshmallows this is the cake for you!!! I get a birthday cake from here every year this is the best by far!!

We went this month of May about 7:50, our second visit ever. There were 2 people in front of us which is not bad . We were not acknowledged and we were patiently waiting. No one helped us so we decided to leave and took our business to Target. I never go back to places with inexperienced staff or unfriendly service.

Cols Stone is one of my favorite ice cream places in Bakersfield. OK - I like them all, but they can whip up my favorite flavor ice cream while the others can't. They need a larger indoor eating area. Sometimes, it's too hot or too cold outside in Bakersfield. I also really liked it when they sang when you tipped them, but...

I would highly suggest their signature ice creams. The staff is very nice. They also work very fast. I posted a picture of the statues in front using a 360 camera. All in all, it is a great place to go. The family loves this place. It is a nice special treat after dinner. If you are in the area, it is well worth stopping by for delicious ice cream.

My customized cake did not look appealing. When I tried to find a solution for them to fix it, the staff brushed me off and weren't very polite. I would be embarrassed to try and sell a cake that looked that way. I walked out and left.

Love their ice cream. Absolutely a favorite in my house. My family of 6 goes here every weekend. It’s kind of hit and miss with portion sizes though. Sometimes they fill it correctly, sometimes your portions could easily fit into the smaller container for cheaper. I don’t complain, I usually just let it be, but it’s become a common thing so, this one time I asked nicely for a little more in one as it was clearly way less than the rest, and the original girl helping was very rude and irritated, but our usual girl had zero problem doing it for me and was very nice, as always. But I could tell the girl who originally helped/scooped the ice cream and checked us out when paying wanted nothing to do with me. Kinda sad. Even my kid noticed and it made him feel terrible.

It's a typical Cold Stone. Ice cream is usually pretty good (when the freezers are working properly). Service is usually pretty good. 9/28/22 - Ice cream was soupy. 3/10/23 - Freezers are going strong tonight.

You hear stories about bigotry and racism in public places in other areas of our country and I'm always a little surprised when I experience it in my own town...but not really, because after all it is Bakersfield. Twice I've been to the Cold Stone on Rosedale and hoped that it was just poor customer service and not me...but, My son had to use the restroom, so I told him to go to Cold Stone and make a purchase joking so they wouldn't call the police for loitering. He went in to use the restroom and get me a bottled water and ice cream. My son was in there so long I thought he decided to dine in. However, he came back 30 minutes later with a story of how he had been skipped over several times and felt ignored. He explained that the person at the counter was helping people standing behind him in line and even some patrons that just walked in were getting served as if he was invisible. When he spoke up for not being acknowledged he felt as if he was rushed out. I would chalk it up to poor service if everyone was treated this way, but when you single out one person and treat them indifferent then there's a problem. I really felt bad for him, because I really never gave my kids "the talk." I felt as if I didn't need to in these days and times, but I guess I was wrong. The Cold Stones on Rosedale is not friendly to everyone...at least not to me and my family. Someone will probably try to explain this away...I'll wait.
