Awesome Indian food. Truely the best Indian cuisine in Pietermaritzburg. The fish curry and crab curry are a must try...oozing flavour and aroma with every Bite. The breyani options are divine. Every curry served, is made with such detail to flavour. I would also recommend the prawn curry and the curry Platter for two, which is well worth every cent you pay. Service is excellent, and the restaurant is always clean and immaculate. The milkshakes and deserts are also delicious. By far the best Indian restaurant in Pietermaritzburg.

Coconut Grove Northway was a very nostalgic experience for me. I recall when they were still called Tropicana and we would dine there every birthday, growing up. They still have a strong family vibe and are big on taste. We visited on 16/01/23 for lunch, we tasted the tripe and dhall curry, mutton and potato curry, mutton biryani and fish biryani. Everything was truly flavourful and delicious, the fish biryani being my fav! Everything comes with a little salad and a vinegar chilli. The portion sizes are very generous and the prices are very reasonable. I will definitely be back the next time I am in PMB. Please keep up the great cooking and value for money! ❤️

The food was so good at one point but now they started using 2 minute noodles and 5 prawns in their chow maine. This is the second time this happened. Very disappointing Meal type Dinner Price per person R 50–100
Excellent authenic and traditional Natal curries in the Capital. You know the food is good when locals are queuing up. Great service and most affordable. You can spoil your family at these rates or impress your business colleagues.

My new favourite place for butter chicken, one of the best that I have tasted. Also had the fish and chips which was well worth it. The portion size and the price of the meals make this my new "go to" restaurant.
Some of the best Indian food in the city. Best mutton curry, best butter chicken and the best chops chutney. You have to try them. And the service is always with a smile.

Worst butter chicken ever. For the price I was eating chicken curry mixed with jam floating in thick oil.Dont ever waste your money
Worst bunny ever , dry , bland, unpleasant Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
Average curry. Tikka paneer was too hot to eat. Naans weren't freshly made (ready made frozen naan). Wouldn't eat there again. Edit: The owner replied to say they did not sell this food to us. Here's a copy of my cell records for proof of my order at coconutgrove and a photo of the paneer they "didn't sell". If the naan is fresh its average at best. Decreased rating to 1 star for the lie :)
