Absolutely love this restaurant's vibe, lovely funky music playing, their prices are great for what you pay for, we started off with starters, the shrimp starters, the morro can prawns, half barbecue chicken wings and the green lipped muscles - because it was a hot day and we wanted something light and fresh and oh-boy was it just that, addictively delish, we also ordered their cocktails, sangria and long Island ice tea and their after eight cocktails.
5 stars all the way, can't go wrong. #fabulousplace

Stumbled upon this place. Not really cocktail people, but my wife and I saw Roy in action and tried a couple. Truly a master craftsman of cocktails. Highly recommend a visit.

First time visiting this establishment despite being a local. Have always been put off due to rather pricey desserts. I was first to order from our party of 15 but had to go to the bar to find out where my strawberry Margarita was. Everyone else had received their drinks. Margarita was very good once it arrived. Bar snacks are just that. Not fine dining. Friend ordered 'chicken bites' that were essentially chicken nuggets. Again I had to wait til almost last to get my calamari. The Happy Hour board when we arrived stated that margaritas were on special. Went to pay and queried full price drink and the waitress said it was a 'mistake'. During the time our party was there not one other customer came in to dine. Their 'mistake' is that I won't be going back. There are at least 2 other restaurants very close by who do better cocktails and offer better service. If it's Happy Hour you need to offer those discounted drinks. Great concept that sadly didn't live up to expectations.

A great selection of cocktails too! Definitely a place to check out when you are next on Eat Street.
Even the bar snacks were tasty too - we had the cross cut chips and chicken bites. Really good! Service good too and the layout of the place is pretty cool.
We enjoyed the atmosphere and service was great. We ordered the Poire Williams, Backyard Bench, and Lemon Ricotta Cheesecake. The presentation was great but the drinks tasted like a house mixer not a craft cocktail and the dessert tasted like it was purchased from Countdown rather than made from scratch.

Cannot wait to come back! This place was amazing and perfect for after dinner. My partner and I found it by perusing Eat Streat and were quickly sold on the tagline Dessert and Cocktails.
We ended up ordering the Hibiscus Bloom which was the sweet hit I was looking for and the Cucumber Gin Cocktail which was refreshing my partner's palette. We shared the Melting Mold Chocolate Brownie and couldn't get enough of it. It was a very decadent brownie, plenty of ice cream, hot choc sauce and chocolate. We were fighting for the last bite, it was that good!
We went here after going out for dinner. 3 of us ordered off the cocktail menu. We all chose the same one. Wasn't nice. Decided to finish them anyway and order another. 3 different ones. None of us enjoyed our second. Brought 6 Cocktails. Realised the next day we were charged for 8. Our bad for not checking at the time. Didn't have time to go back and sort it. But an all round bad experience.

As regulars to Rotorua, we’ve always felt there’s something missing. While there are food places that do great cocktails, a dedicated cocktail bar with ambiance and attentive staff is something that would elevate the rotovegas experience. Stopped in on a Saturday night after dinner. What a cool spot with the books and the set up is warm and cozy. I had two really great cocktails but my fave was the Turkish delight one, wow, so great. My friend had lemoncello tiramisu and that was also divine. Def make a stop here!
