Give Amigo Omar some love while you are in El Cuyo! They served us one of the best fried fish platters I have ever had. The fish was super fresh and the flavor delicious. We also ate every bit of our tasty guacamole. The waitress was very kind. It's a humble place with low prices. You will leave satisfied. A great little spot to sit and experience the community. Meal type Lunch Price per person $200–300 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
Very good local Mexican food. You get value for your money. We ate there 3 days in a row. Amazing handmade corn tortillas. Quesadillas and shrimp tacos are delicious. In addition, it is very important to support local restaurants instead of other overpriced, wanna be fancy, pretentious places in El Cuyo thank god it is not Tulum. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $100–200 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
Out of all the restaurants we went to this one was questionable in my opinion. We had a friends get sick I think from this one. At your own risk. I didn’t get sick I actually like the fried chicken I got. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $100–200 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3
One of the best meals I’ve ever had, don’t be fooled by the somewhat unassuming surroundings. Ceviche, mole and pepino con limón. Far too much food, but finished every bit of it Service Dine in Meal type Dinner
We came here three times in a row, because it was the freshest fish we ate so far in mexico! When you order pescado filete the cook will do the work for you. You can choose between different sauces, for example a la diabla=hot and thick tomato sauce, a la mexicana=light tomato sauce, ojo de l aio=paprika with garlic. Every style was very tasty! You will get rice, guacamole, bean sauce, tortillas, hot sauce and sometimes nachos. Every part of the menu is homemade. No convenience food! And a dish and a beverage costs only 1300 pesos.

Great local food, super cheap!! They don’t sell beer but you can bring your own. They have a menu in English and the staff are super nice. They don’t speak English but are very helpful. We went here when everything else in town was closed because it was a Tuesday...(??) haha that’s El Cuyo for you :-D
