Bread on display with NO signs, labels, or pricing. Had to ask the middle aged korean lady at the till about the flavours of the bread, which she reluctantly replied, and she doesn’t even know some of the flavours of the bread when asked. She seems to be making up prices and I paid $22 for 3 types of bread which tasted mid at best. They also do not accept EFTPOS, and when paid in cash, she short changed me $10. Scam or not? Go figure. Wouldn’t recommend. Price per person $20–30 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Hi, I’m not sure if you guys read or look at your reviews on here but I just wanna say that the cake I ordered today was amazing!! I pre-ordered one for my mum (mango mousse) and she doesn’t like sweets that much so it’s perfect for her. it’s also really fresh too and I will definitely be coming here for my future cake times~ me and my mum also love their breads because they have many to choose from and super soft! please keep up the good work and I hope everyone treats you well during lockdown! stay safe too and see you next time 😊💖
Nice place which accepts EFTPOS. Selling traditional Korean bakery. If you want to try different tastes, this is the place to go. Service Take out Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Fresh Cream

Overpriced and the pastry does not even taste good. We got butter cream buns and the cream wasn't milky, basically just sugar (too sweet) and the pastry was very dry. For around $7.50 per two small pieces you'd expect top quality but it wasn't the case.

Whenever I have special occasions, I buy cakes from here. I bet this place has the best "Korean" cakes. I have brought their cakes to my work and my non-Asian colleagues liked them too - especially kumara cakes. As a loyal customer here, I would like to comment on negative reviews. Korean cakes/savouries are very different from Kiwis/Europeans. So if you have never tried Korean savouries, to be honest, it would not be the best place to go. (Korean savouries are slightly different from Japanese and Taiwanese, too.) In general, Kiwi savouries are salty; Korean savouries are sweet - but not as sweet as Kiwi desserts. Even the cheesecakes are different from Kiwi cheesecakes. So if you are not sure, don't go - and I mean not just this bakery but all Korean bakeries. If you order in advance, they do make fresh cakes for you on time. If you pop in and purchase a cake, they would obviously give you whatever they have in the cabinet. I find this place better than the Gateau House because I did get some old cakes even though I ordered a week before, also they are quite pricey, too. Service-wise, well, they are not that friendly. But when I requested special messages on the cakes, they did it well without commenting/charging me extra. I won't complain about services or attitudes as I'm not dining there or something. Overall I'm pretty happy and would like to recommend - if you know how to enjoy Korean savouries.

Bought the Choco cream cake for my daughter's 8th birthday party.... It's the first time the whole birthday cake has been eaten with nothing left! Everyone loved how light and tasty it was!
I don’t understand why they can put cheese cake on the table instead of putting it into the fridge. I also brought cookies and corn bread, one taste like rubber and for the corn bread I need to drink coffee to swallow it. First and last time getting bread from them. Terrible experience.
