The Oreo waffle, parathas, lamb burgers, chicken tikka and chips is really delicious. Great atmosphere, Staff is so kind and polite. I was most excited about the lamb options available.

Disappointing.
Firstly, I would like to say our waiter Vanray was amazing. He gave us great service and made us feel really welcome. Awesome job!
That was just about the only good thing about Chubbys at Ilala Ridge.
We have been looking forward to trying out this place and it was highly disappointing. The standard of food was bad.
The lamb burger - patty was dry, there was way too much lettuce, tomato and cucumber slices on my burger. The cheese slice was so thin it was barely noticeable. It tasted like a salad sandwich with a dry slice of meat.
The chicken tikka was average. Dry. Lacked flavor.
The mince paratha was doughy and lacked flavor.
The ferrero waffle was ok. Could have been better, crispier amd lighter. The ferreros tasted fake. I would give it 3 stars.
The attitude of the manager Nathaniel was truly off-putting. He voluntarily came to our table and asked if we were enjoying the food. My friends and my husband gave their feedback in an honest and polite way and Nathaniel was a bit uptight in receiving their opinions. He also tried to blame the quality of the food on us showing up late. We did arrive 2 minutes before the kitchen could close and they chose to accomodate us which we are grateful for. However, that does not mean you can serve us low quality food. I had the burger and when asked about it I chose not to speak to Nathaniel because I could see he was not very open to feedback. He tried to make excuses and was visibly not pleased with us.
We were sitting outside. After he spoke to us, he then proceeded to go inside and I saw him speaking to Cynthia. They seemed annoyed at us and were obviously talking about us and making excuses to each other. Cynthia saw me looking at them and after they spoke, she just stood there staring at us which was extremely uncomfortable and awkward. Their behaviour was appalling and unprofessional. We actually had no intention of even complaining until Nathaniel decided to approach us and ask for our opinions. But after they behaved so rudely I felt it necessary to leave this review.
When we paid, we told our waiter how good his service was and as we were leaving, Nathaniel spoke to our waiter and looked really intense and shocked. When we were getting into our cars, Nathaniel came down and offered the owner's contact number to my friend who declined the offer.
Overall negative experience. Would not go there again and would not recommend to others. The food can be improved if they accept the feedback. But the attitude of some people cannot change. First impressions matter and they did not make us feel welcome. Except for Vanray! He was delightful! The 5 stars are specifically only for Vanray!

Exellent food. Impeccable service excellence right down to disinfecting a table once customers have left and not just wiping it down with a reused cloth. Good vegetarian selection. Indian margarita was quite nice. Definitely on my recommendations list
Food is fantastic but that does not matter if you cannot order. The store offers a call and collect service ,but they never answer the phone . Usually takes 3 to 4 attempts to get someone to pick up . The food takes 20 to 30 minutes to prepare. No reasonable person will want to wait instore for that long just to get a takeaway . This business is not on Mr D as yet . I strongly suggest that they start a whatsapp line for call in orders . Their competitors are doing this . Makes things more convenient as its so much easier to order food when you already have a number saved on whatsapp.

Chubby's 👏👌. Flavourful food👍. Delicious hmm.🤟 They have a very cool relaxed chilled setting, cool music💃 . Service is good💯. Half way through the meal we were checked on. They have 3 variations, mild,hot 🔥, & extra hot 🔥 🔥 . The chicken Tikka pizza🍕 🔥 was so tasty, had a slight sweet/🌶 flavor. 💘. The smashed burger and chips was so meaty🍔🥩. Had the Nutella milkshake 😋 😍 🧉served in a mini jar which is enough for 2. Experience awesome 👌 👏 😎 💯
It was by chance that we sat down to eat at Chubby's but it was one of those instances that I do not regret. At first I thought it was solely a waffle/dessert restaurant; however, I was pleasantly surprised when I flipped the menu over - a selections of pizzas and other food greeted me. The pizza was tasty and just right. The waffle was the winner as it was light and fluffy. I will be back.
Weekly obsessions. We're never disappointed with Chubby's. We even had my little sister's birthday here and they were so wonderfully accommodating. Can't rave about the waffles and milkshakes enough!
No service to speak of, have been waiting half an hour so far and nothing. 0/10 will never be back

This Pizza from Chubby's was absolutely delicious!! Loved it sooo much! However I must say I would have given 5 stars but I only gave 3 because there was a lack of chicken along more to the sides of the pizza. So when you bite into it, you get nothing but the base. I hope my next purchase would be different.
