▪️▪️▪️EDIT▪️▪️▪️ This is a revision of my previous review. Rating changed from ⭐⭐⭐⭐ to ⭐⭐⭐. I used to really like the food here and thought it was a welcome higher end alternative to Taco Bell. But lately, I'm sorry to say things have gone downhill at this location. They used to stuff the burritos so full they'd need extra foil to wrap it to go. The last few visits they have really skimped on the meat and sometimes it looks like it's been out for too long (not fresh). Of course it's more expensive due to inflation. Last year's burrito would last me two meals, but now the size has almost halved. Also, the staff is not particularly caring and the place was not clean at all. It's still very busy there, so perhaps the managers feel they can rest on their laurels, but this is one customer who will probably look elsewhere for some good Mexican food. I had gone tonight to the location in Milford on the post road after work. When I walked in I had asked for a burrito. I saw that there was a pile of wraps sitting on the side. The guy serving me then proceeded to tell me there were no wraps left for burrito. As he told me this, he had placed his hand over the remaining wraps. He knew that I saw it and continued to tell me there was none left. The other works watched as he lied and told me there were none left. I was forced to get a bowl due to being hungry and short on time. I am very dissatisfied with my experience at this chipotle. I should have walked out as soon as he lied to me.

I dined in at this location a few weeks ago and my experience was so unpleasant that I’m still thinking about it. Ten years ago I remember Chipotle being high quality, great service, and had an overall nice atmosphere. Not anymore. When I first walked in, it was fairly slow but none of the tables were clean. While in line I noticed the young man that was taking orders looked miserable. I’m sure it’s not the best job to have, but if customer service isn’t your thing try working somewhere else or learn to fake it. When it was my turn to order I took the last of the white rice which left my fiancé with no choice than to try the seasoned rice because the man forgot to tell his coworkers it was low. I noticed sour cream was completely no where to be found. When I asked “Is there sour cream?” The man boxed up my bowl, put salsa in a side cup and moved on. I know he must’ve misunderstood me but with his overall attitude I didn’t even want to bother him about it. And what’s with this being the second chipotle I’ve visited whose ice machine wasn’t working? And they don’t tell you this, so you end up paying for a drink you don’t finish because it’s warm. The area wasn’t stocked with utensils. it was a mess. The food was edible. I blame management. Start managing. Chipotle is always a backup safe bet, not quite fast food, not quite legit Mexican food but always reliable in a pinch. Not this location. It consistently messes stuff up, the other night was my final visit. Arrived around 5:30 and they were out of white rice and the counter was a mess, figured I had errands to run so I’d come back. Came back an hour later and there was a heaping pile of rice, one bite in and it was inedible. Complained to the manager on hand and he agreed it was “terrible” and instantly gave me a refund. I came in today to get food. The guy taking my order was really nice. The guacamole I got was brown looking which was annoying but it taste fine. The two girls at the counter helping me pay were goofing around and it seemed like there were just a ton of workers sitting around doing nothing, which was strange. I sat down to ate my food and practically ate a bag of salt! The chicken was so incredibly salty that I had the same reaction as if I'd just bitten into a lemon. I choked on it too. I also got a side order of chips and those were salty as hell too! I love Chipotle but I'm not sure if I want to come back. Visited around 5:30pm and it was dim, almost looking closed but people we dining so thats how we figured they were open. The food already wasn't looking too presentable (not fresh) and they had no corn but I guess it is what it is. Needs new management. Place is so poorly run and it's sad to see after coming here for years. Walk in and the workers are zombie like. They CONSTANLY forget items for my online order and it's super inconvenient. They also skimp out on meat like their life depends on it. Think I had 5 pieces of chicken minimum on my last bowl. The promised time for online orders is not accurate at all, be prepared to wait. Also, saw a worker sag his pants so low to the ground you can see a moist stain on his undies... true story. Well this was my first time eating in this place .it was ok until I got my food and went to sit down !wow it wasn't clean at all !I am disappointed because this restaurant just opened in Stratford and I expected more!I had a chicken fajita and a beef bowl with soda and it was ok. the staff was chatting between themselves .when it is slow they need to wipe down and clean especially because of covid and other viruses going around ! At the time of our visit, we were confused about where to order, since no one was at the register or taking orders. Eventually figured out they were only accepting on-line orders, so we stepped outside, placed our order for 3 burritos using the app. Ran an errand for the 15 minutes until our order was supposed to be ready at 3:20pm. Arrived at 3:25 to find our order wasn't on the pick up rack. Waited 5, 10, 15 minutes. Then a staff member asked for my name. Was informed that the restaurant is out of steak. Fine, substitute chicken. Was handed the order at 3:46. Unfortunately, none of the burritos were labeled so the guessing game proceeded. Take a minute and put a sign on the door saying on-line orders only, and one on the menu or prominently visible saying no steak available. Won't be back. Customer service is so bad. Not just at this location also at others in the area. Is it so difficult to smile? Pretend you appreciate me overpaying for small portions. Maybe say thank you?
