The food is pretty good. However I have had several experiences of having to wait at least 30 minutes beyond the expected time for my "to go" food with no apologies. They also provide these CHEAP, clear containers that do not keep your food warm. The containers do not have separate compartments to keep food from blending together. My wife and I and our son had her birthday dinner, and it was wonderful. I absolutely love the food here. She was really looking forward to the fried pickles, but it's not on the menu anymore. 😕 still a great night. Thank you to our server, Rebecca. We are not from the area - we were traveling through and stopped in. For a Sunday night they were surprisingly busy and we could tell they were doing their absolute best. The whole crew worked really hard to make sure people were seated without too long of a wait, as well as getting out the extra amounts of food the kitchen had to cook. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was awesome, we could tell they cared about great service. Thanks so much to the whole team that was on staff, your hard work does not go unnoticed! In the past food has been very good but tonight terrible if you want your steak any other way than well done. They tried again and came with ANOTHER well done steak. Very sad. Then treated my group badly because we did not want well done steak! That's even worse. Both our steaks were WRONG but I ate mine anyway. Treating us badly after their mistake 2 times is the really sad part. Guess it's easier to blame the customers. Don't worry they will go away. Walked in and was seated right away. Waiter seemed nice and brought drinks right away. And then..... Waiter disappeared. Showed back up around 15 minutes later. I ordered chips and burger. Wife ordered soup and chicken nuggets. Waiter disappeared again. Served everyone around us, all who came in later. Then I got chips with watery dips and wife got chicken nuggets with fries. I've had tomato juice out the can thicker than what they sold as salsa. Chicken nuggets were so hard I could have used them in concrete mix. Fries were good. Asked waiter about the soup and burger along with more drink for wife. Waiter fed the table beside us and behind us but not us. Waiter finally brought soup. Said burger was on the way. Took drinks to tables all around us, but none to us. After an hour I asked to pay for what we had. Waiter said okay and disappeared. Said my burger was ready but didn't bring it. Then said he had it wrapped and I could take it with me. Manager approached. Told her we would pay for what we got but I wasn't going to eat their food. She wouldn't take payment. Said tickets got mixed up. But everyone else got fed.... Lady across the isle came in after us, got fed and was about to wrap her remaining food to go but peeled a large piece of plastic from her ribs as we were talking to her. Nonexistent service, rock hard chicken nuggets, and soupy dip. I guess that's the three for me. Manager was very nice, comped our food, but we don't go back to places like this. My family and I dined in for my birthday and everything was so perfect! The food was so yummy, the atmosphere was great. Our server, George deserves all the recognition! He was super sweet and always made sure everything was good, drinks refilled! 10/10 we will be coming back and hopefully having George as our server again! After driving a truck all day, my husband stopped here to eat on his way to Fayetteville, North Carolina. While I was on the phone with him, he couldn’t stop raving about how nice and attentive the staff was to his needs. Four different people checked on him to make sure he had everything he needed, manager included. Also, as soon as patrons left they promptly cleaned the tables. Please keep up the excellent work! Overall great experience with the wait staff. There was a line to the front door but that was because everyone was being respectful and practicing social distancing. Our order was taken, drinks and food were accurate and prompt. Restaurant inside was clean and up to date.
