The guy taking the drive thru orders got everything wrong. Then when I was explaining the mess ups to the girl at the window she didn’t seem like she was hearing anything I was saying. We ordered a 25 piece with fries and corn nuggets with two large teas. What they rang up was a 20 piece with corn nuggets. No fries, and only one tea. They corrected this and we thought everything was good, got home and the family size gravy was straight milk. I had to ask my wife what the employees are thinking or doing here. I won’t be back. The young man with medium length rows in his hair was the most kind, attentive professional. He went above & beyond for me. He was outgoing & informative about my question..He is a very very outstanding employee. The chicken tender & the rest of the meal was very hot & fresh. This place is great. Absolutely love the tenders, they're big (Cane's is dead to me.) The spice on them is great and all the sides are pretty great too. Love the seasoning packets. Tasty, fresh, hot fried chicken, courteous service, good sides, reasonably priced. I almost let the few bad reviews keep me away, glad I ignored them. The girl at check out in the drive through even gave our little poodle a cut up piece of chicken, thoughtful. The food was great but not what was ordered. Literally every item was different from the order. I order a 7 piece spicy with poppers and a biscuit and a lemonade. I got 8 piece with fries and a roll. I have the opportunity to go out to lunch on Fridays, and decided to try this Chicken Express a few weeks ago, and I’ve been coming back for lunch every Friday since! Everytime I’ve been, the food has been hot and fresh, and a great value. The service has been amazing! I have specifically been helped my AJ and Colby each time I went, and their customer service skills are phenomenal. I am going to be coming back every Friday from now on! This place is horrible the chicken tenders tasted horrible with no flavor the chicken tender were black the boneless chicken bites were burnt and you can smell the burning the manager nerve of her to have an attitude with me because I'm returning how food that I paid $25 they refuse to give me my money back they don't give out refunds buyer beware buy at your own risk I left the food there with them I show you you can keep the food then how rude the manager tells another employee why I'm talking to her and she says to and employee I'm going to meet you in my office no sis you can't tell someone you going to meet him in your office while you indulging with me about my order you have a very bad attitude but guess what I'm reclaiming my time. Reclaiming my time. I asked for dinner rolls and receive biscuits the receipt clearly states I wanted dinner rolls I asked for no salt on my fries my fries had a pile of salt a pile of salt. They should not be putting salt anyway giving people high blood pressure and cholesterol issues bad enough it's fried food. Update 2/18/23 thought I'd try again since it's been a long while that I've eaten here. No, no change to the gizzards. SO MUCH batter, gizzards are puny, fish is over fried but the fried corn is good and rolls are still good. Was it worth the $53? Thats a big NO! posted some pics ****** I really want to like chicken express but the past couple times I've ordered gizzards I get mostly the fried batter without any gizzards. We eat here atleast 3 times a month and order 60 plus dollars worth of chicken and have never been asked to pay .25 cents per sauce because I want the gravy too. Wow so everyone that is eating the 25 piece strips either eats gravy or a sauce otherwise you have to pay extra to have something to dip your chicken in. Guess that 1.69 for sauce is worth loosing 200 dollars a month in sales. NOTED!!! Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
