Great dishes and hospitality by Lam, the Belgian-Cambodian chef owner who was classically trained in culinary school in Belgium with a few successful restaurants under his belt before returning to Cambodia in 2015. We ordered the Italian carbonara and croque Monsieur, both are highly recommended and we’ll be back again! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Chez Tonton delivers delicious food consistently. The staff is very friendly and the service is very good. Every time I eat there they have some great specials. Last night I had the sous vide pork and it was perfect. A dependable place on the Riverside for good food and a good time. A great place for birthday parties, too. Thank you Chez Tonton. Best food we had on riverside! We went twice in 1 week and weren’t disappointed. The friendly owner recommended us some of his best sellers and both were amazing! Our personal favorite are the beef flank steak with shallot sauce and the Italian carbonara. The creamy shrimp starter is also great! We will go again! This place comes highly recommended by a couple of my French expat friends! One of the better options in touristy riverside. Food is good and hearty—but the servers could be more knowledgeable about the menu. Meal type Lunch Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Best steak I had since travelling. The owner is really friendly and lived in Belgium for a long time. The dishes reminded us at home. The vol au vent was better then at some places in Belgium. He goes for good quality with reasonable prices.

The chocolate mousse was delicious, the vou-la-vent was not quite what I was expecting I would have preferred a creamier sauce. However the menu choices were great and I'd happily be back to try a different dish... staff were friendly and helpful. We had a lovely evening!
