Came here due to Google reviews. Stood for a while when there’s plenty of empty tables and yet a line awaits. Ordered a couple of main entrées, and after a bite of the delicious fish, decided to immediately order more. But they made us wait till the entire restaurant is served and like almost an hour later, when the place is actually closed and staff are seated! No explanation, no apologies, no compensation for our time. So ridiculous. Crawfish entoufee is WAY too salty(even with rice), chicken ain’t as good as Popeye’s, but their catfish is def legit. I do like the cornbread & mac and cheese too. Will I come back to waste my time and more than $100 for 3 dinner entrees? Never again. I’ll go to Popeyes for 1/4 of the price and efficiency. Starting a Milestone Birthday weekend with the fam all of us from out of town. The gumbo was on point. 🎯 Smothered turkey wings, rice & gravy, collards, fried chicken, Mac & Cheese, black eyed peas, cornbread, and peach cobbler devoured by all. Delectable desserts a plenty 🤗 Delish 😋 even to the delight of some true southerners in the group. Even had sweet tea, in Cali 😯 Best customer service, polite, attentive and gracious young people. That fried chicken was fried to perfection, the potatoe salad was delicious, the green beans were good, but the Mac and cheese I didnt care for and the coconut pineapple cake I ordered to take home, never left the restaurant. I ate the entire piece. It was so moist and flavorful. Overall, it was good. The wait for them to take our order was very slow and it took over 20 minutes to get our food.
