We stayed in Essaouira for a month and had lunch on three separate occasions at Chez Mizar. The absolute tastiest dish I had was the stuffed pepper...oh my goodness! His chocolate mousse was also to die for. Reasonably priced menu, but you could also have just the main course, for example. If you didn't like the look of what was on his menu board then you could just carry on walking...simple!

Great place! We stayed at Cass Guapa airbnb just down the block, and ate here more than once in 2017. Incredibly good food, great value, and the owner went out of his way to accommodate my wife's gluten allergy .
This restaurant was recommended to us by our super helpful Airbnb host and became our second-favorite lunch spot (after Snack Chamali). Every day they serve a different special. We made sure to come every Thursday for the rfisa. Rfisa is a traditional Moroccan dish made with crepes cut in tagliatelle-like strips, mixed in with lentils, onions and baked chicken. It’s 50dh, huge, and tasty. What to Order: Rfisa (Thursdays), couscous (Fridays), and the briouates (every day for 30dh) whenever they have them as an appetizer.
