Waited for 30 minutes past when told it would be ready for pick up. When I got my food home one of the two dishes was cold. Would not recommend paying before they give you your food in case you don't have an extra half and hour to wait. Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $20–30

The owners and staff are truly amazing and strive to provide the best possible service and food for everyone that walks in the door. They truly love what they do and it shows in their work ethic, customer service, and personalized approach for each customer. When ordering the person taking our order seemed upset and started talking in another language angrily as soon as we requested no vegetables in a dish (have done this at the Deforest restaurant where they happily do it for us). When we got the food, the teriyaki chicken was basically jerky and hard to eat, and the mei fun and chow mein tasted the worst we've ever tasted. Very surprised by this when the Deforest restaurant is one of the best Chinese places we've gone too. Don't recommend this restaurant at all. Very bad attitude of owners with “take it or leave it” mindset, even though it is only a “hole in the wall” outlet. No plate provided even upon asking. Discrimination towards non- Americans is evident. And bad food, to top it all. Best avoided, if you have a choice!! I am very disappointed with Chang Jiang. I have been coming here for years and typically don't have any problems yet I went last night(June 4, 2022) and I ordered a vegetable lomein and received chicken. I went back in to get this fixed and was given a replacement only for that to also have chicken in it! As someone who hasn't eaten meat in several years I am very sad to see that this is another place that I must cross off as unsafe, even KFC is safer than this! Was craving some Chinese food, so placed an order online, which was quick and easy. Was surprised how cheap the prices were, but I understand now. Got teriyaki beef, steamed dumplings, wontons, vegetable fried rice, and Kung pao chicken. The teriyaki beef was good, the fried rice was bland , and the rest is inedible. The Kung Pao chicken is nothing like any I've ever eaten, and tastes like Play-Doh. I'm not sure what's inside the dumplings or wontons, but it's awful. So for $30 I got 4 teriyaki beef sticks and some fortune cookies. If we don't get food poisoning we'll consider it a cheap lesson.

Take away restaurant. Meaning, only seating is for customers waiting for their order, no in house seating. However, it is worth the wait. May have been the best Dumplings I've ever had!!! I ate mine in the car. I was going to take it home, but after eating the first one, I couldn't stop eating the rest. Delicious! I'll go back just to try other dishes. The food was so dry and overcooked it was almost inedible because it was so hard to chew. It was also largely flavorless although the rice at least you can tell is made in house and not just the yellow bagged rice you get some places. The woman at the register was also very rude to my husband when he was trying to pay. We ordered from here shortly after moving to SP and had a similarly poor experience but we figured it’s been over a year we’ll give it another try. Definitely regret giving them our money twice.
