This is an old power plant. That survived being bombing. It was newly decorated to become a cafe. There are decorated with not working blast and cannon around cafe. You can take pictures with blast and engine of plane world war 2. There are nice drinks. Lao people call this cafe a “ Haunted Cafe” or “ Ghost cafe” Service Dine in Meal type Other Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A very cool place to chill and look at. The atmosphere and environment is calming. The building was riddled with holes what i assume were bullet and bombs, deteriorating, and decaying. You can go upstairs in the building and look at the structure and view from above. Although the flooring upstairs were metal grates that felt unstable and some bent when weight wqs applied, it should be given due to the buildings history. This is no doubt the neatest cafe I have been to hands down. From the architecture (bombed out electric plant), to the obscure "weasel poop" coffee prepared in what looks like a chemistry set... I just absolutely love this place and sure hope I have the chance to go back someday!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Had delicious coffee here as a stop on our Bolaven route. The service is great and the building the cafe is situated makes it a unique experience. Would definitely recommend. Unfortunately didn't have any milk alternatives Meal type Other Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Cool place and tasty coffee but pushy and unfriendly staff. The girl at the cashier wanted to force a croissant on me 🥐😅 After repeatedly saying no, she still added to my order and charged me for it. I had to grab it and hand it back to her, she seemed ashamed about getting caught with it. Weird experience… Food: 5 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 5

Interesting structure as others have noted. The service could really use an improvement as the staff refused to say please thank you or smile or show any sort of politeness or helpfulness and rather than helping us adjust furniture for our 10 person 700,000 kip ($35) mostly local Lao party, we were ignored and then told us we could move chairs ourselves with a frown on their faces. Four of them playing on their phones at once but it was a clear hassle for them to wrap up the remaining baked goods for my friend’s family to take home. Lao people and staff are usually super kind and welcoming, this was an odd exception and I’m not sure why. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Maybe the only place in Paksong where you can get a decent latte and coffee in general! The place seems to be popular among the younger local(?) people, and indeed the atmosphere is interesting as it's in an old bombed building! Usually very peaceful and quiet place, I've visited several times here. Staff speaks a few words English also, which is not too common here. Not the cheapest place but not too expensive either. Hot latte is 20000kip which is quite basic price I think. They don't serve much food here, only small pastries which are quite good though.
