Fantastic atmosphere, climate, service, music and food, highly recommended place for romantic dinner. Not sure what are this bad opinions about the service, it was great! The best place to spend evening in Petrovac.
Visited, location perfect view of the sea and rocks with crashing waves. Friendly and accommodating service, food rating from 1 to 5 is 3+. The place is great for couples. It is kind of lounge and you can basically hear no music and see no people as you would if you had a dinner on a coast.
The cocktails are good and cost either 5 or 7 euro based on the alcohol in them.
The service is good either.
The price for a food (salmon with vegetables and pasta with truffles) is a bit above the average but it’s quality is poor.
The views and atmosphere is amazing!
So as the recommendation, eat somewhere else but come here for drinks and some starters.
Great place for couples, very romantic. Very nice music, not too loud so you can also hear the sound of waves hitting big rocks just under the restaurant. Service is great. The only thing that prevents me from rating it with 5 stars is that the floor is not cleaned on a regular bases.
Nice atmosphere, I'd say it's best for couples. Good wax okey, but I didn't like the way they handled payments. We paid a deposit and then waited for them to come back with no explanation or valid receipt and ask for an extra £68. This was very unprofessional. It would have been nice if we had a choice. Owners might want to consider ways to work and address this behavior.
I am deeply dissatisfied with the service I received. The quality of service was very poor, and my experience was not positive. The food I received was tasteless, which further worsened my experience. I hope there will be improvements in the future, as currently, I would not recommend this service to others.

A Mix of Ambiance and Unprofessionalism
During our backpacking adventure across Montenegro, we stumbled upon the picturesque Restaurant Castelo Terese, nestled at the top of the old fortress area in Petrovac. The name itself exuded charm and promise, and we were eager to dine in this castle-like setting.
As we entered the restaurant, the ambiance captivated us with its beauty, setting the stage for a delightful dining experience. However, our enthusiasm waned as we encountered the unprofessional demeanor of the staff.
Their lackadaisical attitude was evident from the start, as they seemed disinterested in showing us to a table. After some wait, we finally secured a spot and proceeded to order our meal – a pasta and a large salad to share. The response we received when we mentioned sharing was bemusing, as if it was an unfamiliar concept. Despite being aware of the cultural norms, we opted for shared dishes to avoid food wastage, as we had seen elsewhere in Montenegro.
To accompany our meal, we requested a small bottle of wine, intending to share it. The server's snide comment upon serving the wine in two glasses was baffling - "haha, see you asked for it." The sarcasm left a sour taste and was completely uncalled for. Yes, we asked for it, and we knew the quantity of the bottle as clearly stated on the menu. The unnecessary remark made us rethink our decision to tip the server.
The lackluster service persisted as we waited excessively for the bill. The server seemed to wander aimlessly, ignoring other tables and delaying our checkout. Frustrated, we eventually had to approach the counter to settle our bill.
Despite the posh location, ambiance, and breathtaking views, the subpar service at Restaurant Castelo Terese left us disappointed. Our experiences in other places across Montenegro were characterized by exceptional service, making this contrast even more evident.
Cheers to the beautiful ambiance, good food, and the stunning view at Restaurant Castelo Terese, but a plea for the management to address the unprofessionalism among their staff. An establishment with such potential should strive for excellence in every aspect, including service.
