No frills order at the counter, Styrofoam container seafood. Indoor seating. Place was clean, food was hot. Got fried shrimp and oyster platter. Good deal on the shrimp - tails on, decent amount. Good sized shrimp, not heavy battered. Oysters were good again, a decent amount. Hush puppies and Cole slaw. Free tea refills. Food: 4 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Love this place, another favorite for seafood on the Mississippi Coast!! When I tell you the grilled shrimp was so fresh and delicious...it was like a little piece of heaven. Huge crawfish and seasonings were on point. I see why they have won 🏆 2nd best crawfish, 3yrs in a row! Go ✔️ them out!! Small, quiet place where your food is cooked to order. The fried rice was very good. The fried shrimp were slightly overcooked but the boiled shrimp were excellent. Best red beans and rice ever! I stopped coming to captain hooks because the people were very rude and inconsiderate. They have since gotten either new people or a new owner, and it's a much nicer atmosphere, and a much better meal experience. I only had a grilled shrimp salad but it was wonderful.
