Restaurant de France in Sarrancolin is an excellent place to stop for a meal. The atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are attentive and welcoming. The food is tasty and excellent value for money. The menu features traditional French dishes such as Garbure topped with confit de canard and cheese, salad de berger and steak in mushroom sauce. The set menus offer a great selection at a good price, and the 15.90 steak menu includes chips, charcuterie starter, dessert and house red wine, all for under 20 euros per person. The dining area has been recently upgraded and offers a pleasant, old-style French lunch restaurant experience. The service is excellent, and the restaurant is well organised despite the young age of the owners and servers. The menu items are fresh and the quality of the food is high. Prices are more than reasonable. All in all, Restaurant de France is an excellent place to dine in the Vallée d'Aure. Highly recommended!
