As a US Citizen, residing in NY - I had the pleasure of Traveling to Morocco and staying near Jnane Tanjah. As an American my breakfast taste can differ and I can be particular. There were a few days I was homesick for the typical Egg&Cheese sandwich that many use for breakfast where I am from. Jnane Tanjah (without being able to understand me 100%) did everything they could to replicate this on a pressed Pannini - and WOW did it taste better than in the states. I was obsessed to the point that I came and got it every single day after that until I had to leave Morocco. Don't get me wrong - I LOVE a traditional Moroccan Breakfast, but when feeling homesick I opted to try and ask if they could make this. They really did so much to help me feel comfortable. Always greeted me and had great conversations. I felt very welcome. It was sad leaving as I got accustomed to seeing them every morning when starting my day. Thinking back to it now - if it wasn't for them - I may not have had the confidence to try and communicate with other business owners and establishments. Jnane Tanjah will always have a special place in my heart ❤️ Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Nothing special to mention, there are a lot better cafes in tangier, waiter overcharged me beware of this little dirty trick always check prices on the menu and compare with bill, won't be returning there anytime soon.
