The roadside cafe of The Glasgow, for travellers along the Kandy road. Nice cozy place, well maintained. Good attentive staff. Feel a bit understaffed during busy times. A variety of snacks and tasty tea coffee. Refer the menu for meals options. Call in advance and reserve if you are a large group

Food is horrible in this place. Went two times. Tried same meal over and over. Fried rice and biriyani are the most common food available during the day time. Food is pre cooked and very cold and they serve them with chicken fossils. Nothing to eat but to lick. Chop-sue is made of like expired vegetables . Can’t be eaten. Chicken is burnt and you can have the smell of burnt food all over the place. I think they keep frying them over and over again and serve as they aren’t getting customers and food is leftover. Lot of stock powder is used here (MSG). place is cozy and ambience is nice. But food is horrible.

We have ordered one choco fudge, 2 plain teas with ginger and 2 milk coffees. But this is what they indicated in their bill and we have questioned from the lady who served. She said same price for plain tea and milk coffee which is Rs 70.00 each. It seemed bit dodgy and asked from the cashier. His response was "we have been asked to charge Rs.70.00 for a plain tea if you add ginger". Funny 😁. Watch it....They will rip you off in big time.
