- Food and Drinks: Superb. Highly recommended for coffee lovers. They roasted their coffee right in front of you.
- Price : Reasonable.
- Hygiene: Acceptable.
- Location: easy to find. Not many parking spaces though.
- Atmosphere: Good. And I love their decorations. However, if you are looking for a quiet place, this might not be the place because of the coffee roasting sounds.

I visited Cafe Espresso Roastery while travelling with my family to Kampot and all of us were very impressed by their food, service, and coffee. The cafe has a beautiful industrial design and a cozy vibe that makes you feel at home. The staff are friendly and attentive, and they make sure you have a great experience.
The food is delicious and creative, with a variety of dishes to suit different tastes and dietary preferences. I had the smashed avocado toast, my wife had the fried chicken burger, my mother had the chicken shawarma salad and my dad had the BBQ pork rice tomatoes. This was one of the best meals we ever had in Cambodia .The portions are generous and the presentation is appealing.
The coffee is exceptional, as they roast their own beans in-house and use a state-of-the-art espresso machine. You can taste the difference in every sip, as the coffee is smooth, rich, and aromatic. They also have a selection of other drinks, such as smoothies, juices, and teas.
Cafe Espresso Roastery Cafe is a must-visit for anyone who loves good food and coffee. It is definitely one of the best cafes in Kampot. I highly recommend it and I will definitely come back again.

Super nice restaurant in Kampot. The cuisine is US UK MEX oriented with tacos, burgers and pancakes, smoothies. Very generous portions. Maybe it's a bit pricey or maybe we wanted to try too much stuff. It's mostly frequented by westerners. But the place is decorated with taste. Very cool vibes. And they make their own coffee !

Best meal I've had so far this year. Huge portions and cheap compared to other sit down restaurants in the area. Would come back again if we had time but fear we will not! Seems to have Aussie influence with the option of a flat white and a chicken parma.

It's been 6 years since my first visit which I remembered to be impressive. Often, I find out it wasn't quite as expected but that was not the case at all. I loved the food, the setting even though some of us eyes were bigger than our stomachs, even the leftovers were taken home and eaten

This place is out of the main center but was a short and interesting walk to get out of the tourist center (I liked seeing the local schools both public and private) so if you are fine with walking from the main Starbucks on the river it was 15 minutes and worth the effort.
We love coffee roasting so the smell and watching it being done was a treat. I wish I had read the specials board more carefully before ordering because I would have changed my other. Overall the food was hot and yummy. Super reasonable prices and fast service. Too early for cocktails for me but I’d go back to try them. We did get additional food to go to take back to the hotel that has a weak restaurant to eat at. They were happy to juggle an eat in and a to go order. An Australian tourist said they felt bad eating there as they try to stay local but I think it’s still very local and lots of interesting options so don’t beat yourself up and just go get the yummy food you know you want it.

Effortlessly cool cafe with interesting murals and art on the walls. You can sit here and watch the coffee beans get roasted and packed away in front of your eyes and enjoy the fantastic aromas that are a product of this process. This cafe oozes trendy without trying - a perfect spot!

The place is nicely decorated, staff is friendly. We had juices, eggs benedict and Kampot benni. All was good but the Kampot Benni (which is gluten free) was truly amazing. Balance between salty, little sweetness of the rice waffle, tiny hint of spice. Perfect! We would love to come back but unfortunately they’re closed on Mondays ;-)

An old house with tin roof re-designed as a creative coffee shop. No A/C but it is not too hot with the big fans. At the entrance we could see the roasting machine and nice coffee aroma. We ordered avocado smash, burritos with pulled pork, americano, and latte. The price is very good in general within 5 USD each dish. Food was delicious (burritos was a bit too oily). Coffee had a very strong dark roast taste which was not our favorite… maybe give it a try with other drinks next time.
