This place is an absolute gem. Amazing food, warm & friendly folks, and very affordable. The breakfast was amazing - the huevos rancheros were delicious and came with lots of sides. The fresh juices were INCREDIBLE. I got the bananas con leche drink and it was soooooooooooo good. I can't wait to go back to try more! Edit: went back for dinner and no surprise: it's awesome Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is a true authentic little place to enjoy the typical local cuisine of the island and it tastes soo damn good. Isabel is a great host and I can highly recommend to eat here. One of the best places I ate in Nicaragua and the price is unbeatable!

I got terrible food poisoning from the fish and vegetables. It was really dark and a bit grim to sit in. Be really careful with what you order here because I’ve met several travellers since who have also been sick from eating here. Enjoy Ometepe! Food: 1 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3

The food was so amazing All the Nica flavor, I had gallo pinto with eggs and cheese. I asked for extra sour cream and they gave it to me for free. It’s really cheap. Service Dine in Meal type Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Traditional asado plates. Simple menu, just choose your meat/vegetarian option. Pork was a little tough but tasted good. Fresh juice was great too.

Probably the best chicken of my life!! The cow beef was just ok. Love the gallo pinto and the torrones. You can also eat vegetarian, ask for salad, plain rice, etc. For only 120 cordobas a dish.

The best coffee (café con leche) I’ve had in all of Central America…well, so far. The huevos rancheros w/salad were excellent. Isabel is such a pleasant host. You will not be disappointed. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
