Best prawns I’ve ever had, I came back twice! Lovely restaurant just by the beach and the food is amazing. I had prawns with garlic sauce, salad/fries. All of it was fresh and full of flavour. The chef/owner came and said hello and it was lovely to meet him, he’s been the owner/chef for 25 years. The beach just in front is nice for swimming so you can chill at the beach and eat here in the afternoon. Hands down the BEST meal we’ve had in Sri Lanka after 2 weeks of travelling around the country. The chef cooked up an incredible seafood platter for us, which was perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned and to top it off the service was phenomenal & the atmosphere was amazing. The restaurant is by a lovely calm beach which you can enjoy views of while indulging in the delicious food. We really recommend the seafood platter & the white wine was very nice also. A fabulous place. We went here for dinner and had the calamari, chips, salad, grilled prawns and prawn fried rice. Each were delicious. Super fresh and cooked really well. The most tender cuttlefish I’ve had. Simple food but cooked perfectly and in a relaxed atmosphere. There’s no dress code and the waiters are nice and welcoming, and the chef comes out to check all is good with the food. We will be coming back to try the lunch as the setting is right on the beach and we are told you can see turtles on the beach in the daytime. Definitely worth trying. Me & my partner loved this restaurant. We were in Tangalle for two nights and ended up eating here both nights (which is very unlike us) because it was so good! I would recommend the calamari and devilled prawns, they were both incredible. The portion sizes are really generous. Even if you just wanted to go for a drink, the views over the beach are beautiful. This was the most peaceful and stunning beach we visited in Sri Lanka. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

The food is great. Very delicious and fresh. They have the best calamari in the town (soft). The service is excellent, they engaged very much. The location is great too. It's near the street, but not noise, and the restaurant is on the beach. Best of the best. We recommend.

Amazing seafood flavors! The owner gets up every morning at 5 a.m. to choose the best fish and seafood at the local market and then turns them into the most delicious food we ate during our month-long trip around Sri Lanka. The prawns were absolutely excellent and were instantly devoured, whereas the fish of the day was decent. THEY ARE OPEN! Aug. 7, 2021. Contact owner and give notice so he can get ingredients and prepare food fresh. +94 77 622 1139 My bf and I were having a beach day when the owner approached us saying if we were interested in eating he could go grab some things and make us up his specialties. We’re glad we took him up on the offer... we had an amazing lunch on the secluded beach. We got calamari, deviled shrimp, a huge salad and bowl of fries. Great value. Massive portions and everything was delicious.
