The burgers are solid. I love to get the garlic fries. I got the BBQ elk burger with garlic fries and a beer. The brioche bun is very nice and the meat is high in quality. Over all solid stop

NV Elk Burger
I went here because of a YouTube video recommending the place for the Bison Burger. I went there and was recommended the NV Elk Burger. Ordered that with sweet potato fries.
The burger was amazing. It was juicy, warm, and moist. The bread was not soggy. The lettuce was crisp. The patty was cooked amazingly. It didn't have a weird odor or texture. It honestly tasted almost like beef. There was a faint moment where I could smell something that didn't smell like beef, but it was faint, so I wasn't sure if that was elk smell.
The fries were also good. It was crunchy and crispy on the outside but soft in the inside. The seasoning was not overpowering, and I did get slight sweetness from it. With barbecue sauce, it was amazing.
If I were to complain for anything, it would have to be the price. But it'd be nitpicking at this point because good quality will come with a price. They did serve a fresh burger (at least I couldn't tell if it wasn't fresh). Two meals I ordered tasted good. I'd say this place is worth the visit.

When we walked in the vibe was not great, the staff seemed frustrated that we had come and ordered food. The burger was undercooked, which i asked for medium rare. But this is more than medium rare, the meat was cooked so little that the cheese had a hard time melting. The fries could have been better, they were under-salted. Overall it could have been a better experience, and the only reason this place was on our list of places to try was that it was one of the top-rated burger places in Tahoe, but we will not be returning to this place after our experience.

The burger was AMAZING! We had tried In and Out, Five Guys and Shack shack (any famous burger places you name it). This place’s burger is seriously the best among them. Even the french fries are non comparable to other places. I would definitely recommend Burger Me!

we actually saw this place featured on the local channels when we first arrived in Tahoe. we were visiting from the Bay area and for whatever reason it really stuck with my boyfriend and he insisted that we visited. they were closed Christmas eve and day so we didn't get to try it until Tuesday. it was worth the wait tho!!
he ordered a build your own beef burger (well done), and onion rings. I ordered a bison burger (medium) and a chocolate malt shake.
his burger was really yummy!! super juicy and the brioche bun paired amazing since it added a little sweetness to the savory burger. I felt like the onion rings were a bit greasy but otherwise were fine.
it was my first time trying bison meat, so I didn't know what to expect. I ended up not liking it as much as his burger, but that was just my personal taste. it was otherwise good!! i loved the malt shake as well, the chocolate flavor made it taste like a whopper. I'll start ordering malt shakes from now on :D we had to leave for home right after so we didn't get a chance to try this place again. if I ever come back, I will definitely make a stop here. so so happy we happened to come across it on the TV while channel surfing :)

Had the bison burger, which was amazing almost as good as the bison burger I ate when I was visiting Yellowstone national park. I also had Ionian rings which were over cooked but still delicious. Service was amazing. I had a large strawberry milkshake, which was one of the best ones I’ve had.

We ares visiting from Miami and travel A LOT so food expectations are high and the flavor of the burgers did not disappoint. The pretzel bun was not the best but the sweet potato fries were excellent and the ingredients were fresh. We recommend and would return.

Best burger in town! Affordable and everything is made to order. Staff is always friendly! I like a medium rare burger and they get it right every time! Me and my family eat here at least once a week. Please don't ever leave!

Had very high expectations bc of the review and pictures but oh boy we were wrong. Our order took about 30-35 mins when nobody was there. First they came to serve us food that we didn’t even order and then girl front when I go asked for our to go order she looked confused but we were sitting there for like 30 mins now, then she went to look for it and our food was already in a bag meaning it’s probably been sitting there they just forgot to give it to us. Then they forgot my sons juice box so as expected our food was a soggy mess from the fries to the burger itself what a disappointment. Don’t come here if u want soggy fries and burgers. SMH

BEST burgers!!! We didn't bother with the fancy wildlife meat options and went for regular beef. But if ya wanna try the elk or bison, don't be shy! This spot knows the right way to cook the meat and minimize any food borne illness.
We rate the Cowboy Burger a 10, and build your own burger a 10. Cooked at perfect "medium."
This spot is kind of attached to the Hampton Inn but technically doesn't belong to the hotel. If you miss them at first, flip that u-turn ASAP! This place is worth it!
