Laid-back neighborhood bar/pool hall in the Sacramento pocket area. Had some small bites off the menu at a descent price. The staff are friendly & hospitable.

I’ve only been to Brownies once but loved it. The atmosphere was laid back. The bartender was great and just an overall great experience. Looking forward to going back.

This place has been revamped since the prior pics on google. Great bar that reasonably priced. The bar has available outlets to plug in chargers for cell phones. Bathrooms are clean. There is a pool table, dart board, booths, and outside seating. Super friendly bar staff!

Brownies. From an old Irish bar to a budding spacious alcove in the pocket area of Sacramento. The bar still retains, as of 8/28/19, the name Brownies. Some of the old patrons still frequent during day hours, and sometimes into the night. The climate of the new blends with the changing winds of the new ownership, but the mood and effect still welcomes the intimate experience of your favorite hole-in-the-wall bar. You can get some fantastic Mexican from a wonderful restaurant nearby, right at the bar. The magic in the experience comes from the people that still continue to frequent the new direction. The new design has booth seating and pool tables with sports channels available, but I think you'll come for the experience. Cash only, but there's an ATM inside. These kinds of places are what I seek in the town I love.

Great neighborhood bar! The owner has been renovating and hopes to open the kitchen soon! Can't wait we love the neighborhood bar scene!
