A group of friends and I came here for restaurant week and had a great time! The atmosphere is great--not too loud, dimly lit and unique decor all around. Service was great and each dish was aptly described by the server.
In terms of food, everything was amazing and offered unique flavors. I especially loved the scallops which melted in my mouth.
Overall, I had a great time and Bronze definitely stuck out above other places I've been for restaurant week. It would also make a great date night spot.

This was one of the more memorable and delicious meals I’ve had. The cuisine inspired but not overly contrived. The service delightful and fun in a pub-like atmosphere. No fuss despite the special plates of food. The whole red snapper was sweet and gently spicy. The desserts, especially the magnificent cacao with shaved beet naturally sweet and bitter, the cocktails sublime. Best birthday ever.

Excellent cocktail selection & delicious non alcoholic mocktails too.
Service there was super welcoming, friendly and efficient. Suggestions were made as needed and the experience was efficiently tended to.
Love the desserts are rich and not too sweet and you seriously can’t go wrong with any appetizers or main courses. Love how they separate their menu by land, sea and garden

If yall haven't been here you better run and support!! My sister and I had the best service and food ever! The decor/vibe was just my cup of tea with the stylish animal print booths, dim lighting, and sexy black wall was on point. Joe was our service and he provide amazing service and great food suggestions. It was the last day for their tasting menu, four courses for $65. The was food was perfectly seasoned and delicious! The sea bass melted in my mouth, foodporn. The drinks are good, Nakia's Home made with mezcal was tasty! I definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back soon.

Visited Bronze for the first time during DC Restaurant Week and the experience was phenomenal. Before going, I checked out their Instagram and website to prep me for the visit. The website and IG do not do this place enough justice. You just have to experience it. There is so much attention to detail in every aspect of the restaurant. From the decor, lighting, design to the menu (yes, the back of the restaurant week menu card was bronze in color!).
The food was very flavorful and not overpowering/ over seasoned. You really can taste and savor the flavor/ spices in every bite. Plate presentation is definitely 10/10! The best part about coming during restaurant week, we were able to try different offerings on the menu. The cocktails are handcrafted and are very delicious!
The atmosphere of the restaurant fit the theme also. The music was not too loud, you were still able to enjoy the music while enjoying a conversation at your table. The lighting was perfect for dinner, not too dark. The service was amazing! Your plates and silverware are changed out between courses and your glasses are constantly refilled with water.
It has been a long time since I was excited to try a new restaurant in DC, black owned at that (IYKYK). Bronze was also recently nominated as a 2024 James Beard Award finalist in the category of Best Chef in the Mid Atlantic... and I see why! Bronze exceeded my expectations and I will certainly be returning for another wonderful dining experience!

EXCEPTIONAL!!! It's been a long while since my husband and I enjoyed a restaurant in DC that much. Everything was simply amazing: the setting, the design, the music, the very attentive bartender and servers, and of course the food. Oysters were phenomenal, the light condiments that accompany them were a perfect touch of acidity, heat, and saltiness; they didn't overpower oysters at all but were just a perfectly balanced combination. We also tried squid, chicken and coconut rice. Now, I rarely give praise to rice but this one was so flavourful, perfectly cooked, moist, different.
The service was also top notch. Unlike so many places nowadays, they didn't just drop all dishes at the table at once. The courses were perfectly timed, giving us enough time to enjoy cocktails in between. The bartender checked on us frequently to make sure we have all we need.
All in all we cannot wait to go back! Thank you team Bronze!

What a gem of a restaurant! I was fascinated with the theme and had Bronze on my list of restaurants to visit. I'm glad I did. The service and ambiance is amazing. The staff is truly welcoming and knowledgeable. Loved the drinks, I'll be back for more. Def try the provision frites and the guava doughnut.

This restaurant is mad terrific! Our favorites from the menu were the torched oysters and sweet plantain. Oh and the roobisos tea yoghurt with passion fruit is absolutely worth making room for; Could have it daily. This restaurant also deserves to be praised for their interior design. The vibe created by the large rounded windows and dark walls is sexy and energizing. Just being here makes you feel rather fashionable. Good service too!

I attended last night for my pre birthday dinner with my husband and it was amazing! I'm a New Yorker Transplant & I always say gems in DC are hard to find and then last night I found one. The butchers cut was so juicy and made to perfection served with wild mushrooms and a gravy that was to die for, it's a 10/10. And the poulet was also so juicy and flavorful and such a good portion. The coconut rice is just right & the sweet plantains with the butter I believe it is, oh man. The Guava donut can't be skipped, it's a must. I can go on and on about how great the food was. Spices are all there & the wait time for food is almost non existent. The drinks are also 10/10. Staff was very personable from the host to the servers to the busboys, even the owner walks around overseeing how everyone is. The ambiance is also there. We even joked with the table next to us and spoke like we knew each other forever. It was all around a great experience & I can't wait to go back. There should be a line outside the door for this place but it is truly a hidden gem. If you're thinking of going here, let this be your sign! GO!

Such a great spot -- hidden gem on H ST. The food, service and vibes were all exceptional. The flavors for food and drink are familiar yet when combined in a different way, the tastes are so new and refreshingly good. Greyses provided us with such great care -- we enjoyed her recommendations and had the best time trying out new dishes / cocktails. The design of the restaurant, from art to materials used, is beautiful -- bold and at the same time, warm and welcoming.
