This place is really amazing, absolutely worth the morning track to grab a fresh baguette or a loaf of sourdough. I have tried many bakeries and baking at home, but this definitely ranks in the very top, up there, alongside some of New York’s finest. They also make a great challah on Fridays. Sadly, they don’t make pastries over the weekends anymore (although I was told they may come back).

The best ham and cheese croissant in DC. Crispy, not oily, and crisped cheese hanging out. Quality ham too. The loaves are very crusty but the inside of the bread is perfectly moist and soft. Really quality bread. We take a loaf to every brunch event we attend and all the flavors are a hit. It’s in an alley.
