Just an updated review of Bob Evans and this location still gets all stars from me, our server Ms. Tangie provided excellent customer service not only to us but the other customers she was helping as well. So I'm not going to drag this out, see the new pics. Great employee, great hot yummy grub! I highly recommend 10 out of 10! Had great service today. Ask for Elijah he’s a great server. For things I usually have to ask for, he had already taken care of them. When he introduced himself I thought how old is this young guy. It was great to see a young man, very professional, he knew the menu, remembered what I asked for, brought out hot syrup, enough napkins, etc...just simply pleasant service. Our breakfast was delicious! The pancakes were hot, the western omelette was cooked to perfection and the bacon was tasty. Our server Kalaya provided exceptional service. She was very pleasant and attentive. You could also tell that some customers were regulars because of how the staff pleasantly interacted with them and that was nice see. We look forward to returning. Update: Returned on 2.25.24 Our amazing server was Ms. Tangie. She went above and beyond. Went here the other night(1/29) to get the pot roast meal. I specifically said I wanted my meat in a separate container from my sides- that was NOT done. I was charged for 2 pot roast meals when they gave me a serving of 1. I asked for FRESH biscuits only to get heated up stale biscuits from that morning. The sausage gravy was brown as in dark in color. It looked like chocolate chip cookie pudding or something. I used to work at Bob Evans and I know for a fact the food is not supposed to be cooked like that. It was very dry and quiet in there, I went around 6-7pm so it’s NO excuse as to why I did not receive the fresh food I asked for. They literally only had about 3-4 tables with 2 customers at each. I will never return here because this location does not give out fresh food. I have gotten food delivered from here as well and it is NEVER fresh. very disappointed in the staff Bob Evans has representing their business. We had THE BEST waiter!!! He took excellent care of us. We had almost 20 in our group! He memorized everyone’s order without writing anything down! He made no mistakes!! I’ve been to this place before. Overall, I have had good experiences. This evening, though, the manager made a little thing a huge deal—making my family and I feel as if we were trash. The meal we were charged was a 3-course meal-we just order the regular meal. The manager told us that it was unfair of us to let them know because they brought a soup to us. A soup that I didn’t ask for. Then she said that she was going to take $20 dollars off the bill just becase “ the customer is always right” even though she thought we were being unfair. 10/14/23 Thought the service would be any different from the Springfield location but I was wrong. Getting seated was only 10mins for 3 people on a rainy saturday but the food took an hour. Thank goodness for the server who felt bad and checked in on us often and filled our drinks. I can't fault the cook and the servers - most of the servers were lined up waiting for orders to be served. The cook did his job and cooked it right - not greasy and soggy with oil for omelet and nice pan cakes and French toasts. They just didn't have enough cooks and it is the management that is to blame for this whole mess. There were definitely no shortages in personnel except the kitchen. Hope they fix this because it is still a good business model - quality food for the price point. It was a late breakfast after a very early flight from Maine but I wanted to get out of D.C. asap before stopping. We don't have this chain where I live but I know you can count on a solid meal. The place was busy even at 10 am, a good sign. My waitress was prompt, well spoken and efficient. The breakfast was great and with hot tea got me up to speed. Everything was great about this place! The wait staff was great. Ours was Tangie, an awesome person right there. She took great care of us for breakfast. We had biscuits and gravy, and an egg plate with blueberry pancakes. It was delicious 😋 A great start to the day, very well liked by us. My sister wanted to eat so we stopped here. It was cold but cozy inside. Not to crowded for 11am. The waitress was helpful in sitting us were I requested I had an ham & cheese Omelette and my sister had steak and eggs.
