Come here and try perfectly cooked fish & chips, hake and calamari. The cool staff meets you at this restaurant all year round. Good service is something guests like here. 4.1 is what Blue Ocean Fisheries got from the Google rating system.

6/04/2022 16:50 This place is inconsistent to say the least. Sometimes you will leave feeling so satisfied other times very dissapointed. The hake and chips was so disappointing, A scimpy piece of hake placed on the bottom and chips just chuck onto it. Making the fish all mushy. The calamari option equally dissapointing, as in the photo hardly a portion calamari smothered by oily chips. This place is not cheap but they are slipping big time. Very dissapointing,.... From hero to zero. Sad to say I will contact them today, i will post their response

The best fried fish I had in a very long time. Lindon took my order and I asked my nephew to collect. But you did not disappoint me at all. You the best
Even though the Placards show Amex/American Express they don't accept it. Have tried, but sadly they don't do it. Had to pay in cash. The meals however are not like what it was a few years ago. It's fine still but a few years ago with the old owner who sadly I believe passed away had the best meals (Fish and chips and everything in-between he could offer.) Eh, they either don't know how to set up their card machine for Amex or use a different brand called Yoco Khumo which accepts Amex cards. Edit: I wanted to include some extra positive thing, If a person needs to eat, a person needs to eat. Thats why i do like that there is a place here. Oh and the Placard that mentioned Amex was removed at least as its unfortunately not accepted there As of yet... One of the best fish and chip shops in the whole of Port Elizabeth. This one in Bluewater Bay has been here for many years and is still excellent. Great pricing, great staff, and great fish and chips. Do yourself a favour when you're in the area and give them a try.
They are unable to keep a constant level of quality with their fish yet it has great potential. Again understanding that it might be not in their business model to deliver good quilty, maybe there are happy with settling with being a small business forever.
Fantastic fish, calamari and chips. Of the best that I have ever eaten.
Used to be excellent. Ordered fish and chips and asked for it to be lightly salted. Needless to say it was so salty I couldn't even eat half of it 😐
Did not have a good experience fish was not fresh chips was done in old oil will not seport any more.
The person who was taking orders was not friendly. And the fish that I've bought there didn't have a taste. I bought hake and chips of R110 only. The fish was like its washed and has no salt at all.
Best fried fish in Port Elizabeth - calamari good ( but ask to be underdone), fish cakes very tasty, pickled fish the very best.
