Value for money: I am not sure As a Sri Lankan I don't think the food was tasty. The variety was good but the taste was very flat. Previous pictures will show you a lakeside view but this place is not by the lake. Maybe they had it earlier near the lake. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. There are dogs cats and crows so you can't leave your food unattended. No washrooms. There are public toilets within 100m which are in horrible shape. Reasonably priced rice and curry made to Perfection. All other meat items except waw malu was gone when we reached there around 2pm. The staff served us with great care and made sure that our plates were filled throughout the time we were there. Superb location. It is a rock in the middle of the kantale tank. One of the best experiences i had in my life. Food and the service in top class. I’m sure we will be back next time also. Highly recommended this place for a camping ⛺️ night experience. What an experience! They went the extra mile for us, even squeezing in our booking last minute which we were so grateful for! A Beautiful, picturesque lake hand rowed through the nature, with a stop of half way through, with hammocks and a BBQ to be enjoyed on the boat! His mother cooked the most amazing Sri Lankan dishes paired with the BBQ fish cooked in front of us on land. I would highly recommend blue boats on the edge for a day trip, for a great price too!
