If you want a nice taste of some local beers, Black Eagle won't disappoint. We had the tasting tray of 6 beers of which 4 were produced by Black Eagle. Unfortunately they did not have those for sale, but offered some alternative local bottled craft beers. Worth a visit if you are in the area. Be mindful of the limited timing!

Had an excellent visit to the brewery tap room and sampled a range of beers brewed by Black Eagle and other local craft breweries. The staff were very friendly and knowledgable about their beer and the craft beer industry in the area in general.
Did a quick stop for beer tasting. Was exactly what we expected 👌 Funky that they add some games on the table. Child friendly should you want to order other drinks and food is available too.
Myself and a group of friends did the beer tasting early July, and let me tell you - their craft beer is amazing. The owner is also extremely friendly and gave us a detailed background on each of the six beers we tasted. Hoppy In Love and Weskus Brekvis is definitely my favourite. Can't wait to go back on my next trip to Langebaan.
Just off Main Road I discovered this little gem of a Brewery, I decided to taste the tasting tray, magic collection of beer. Go and visit them.

Place is quite different from years ago.
From the beers to the service to the atmosphere.
You don't get a chat with the owner, or the person who poured your beer.
The beer options arent as nice(although to be fair this is specifically to my palate)
Went for a tasting and sadly only one of the many beers I used to enjoy were on tap.
No more Black, Weskus Brekfis, moedersmelk, love potion or any of the others I used to enjoy.
It is a new owner, so perhaps they're still setting up.
I'll give them one more try again, but it doesn't feel or have the same taste as years ago.
It used to be my favourite brewery, now I'd say it's just fine. Worth a visit if you like craft brew, and you're in langebaan.
But not worth a trip from outside Langebaan anymore.
