Super friendly, good coffee, excellent food, no WiFi, the usual weird ‘service’, air conditioning & a bar upstairs. Good place to hang out with a laptop for hours - no one bothers you with, “would you like…”! Although I WISH they would. I’ll be back.

Located at 2nd level, one need to mind your steps as it was many steps up and down before get into the cafe bar. Ambience was not bad however maybe the acoustic not working, very dull as no music but just ppl noisy chatting around. Not all menu available, just left sandwiches and chicken wings. That what's we got, tastes are not bad.

Black Box is one of the few live music venues in Dili. Every Friday night at 10:00 there's a live show. The venue packs out pretty quickly after the performance at Dili's other music venue Sky Bar ends, so try to get here earlier if you want a table. Black Box serves coffee during the day and alcohol and bar food at night. Drink prices start at about $4.

Chilled out bar area serving drinks and snacks at reasonable prices. Staff were friendly and welcoming. It was quiet, but it was also late and maybe a newly opened place? The vibe was nice despite this. Good music, not too loud.
