The price is good, portion size is great! But flavor isn't there. The consome Is bland, salsa isn't spicy, and some of the meat is too salty. This is just my opinion. Overall I wouldn't go back sorry Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

The cheese tacos are good, but don’t waste your money on the consume to try and dip these. The consume isn’t nearly as flavourful as other places I visited (though they were in Portland). Not sure if there is anything better available in Bellingham. The staff were quite friendly, and service was quick. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20

Cool plays on popular non-Mexican dishes. The servings are generous and tasty. The crowd favorite is the taco pizza. It’s stuffed with meat! Informal, casual interior. Good service to the table and decent prices for the size of the servings. Hits the spot after riding Galbraith!

You know those restaurants that are sleeper restaurants, like you find them and are like where have you been all my life? Birrieria is one of them, amazing authentic food, and while the tables / atmosphere may look meh to some, it's food speaks for itself. Bring your appetite and thirst and be ready. To the owner, you need signs on northwest telling more people about this place. I heard of you via word of mouth. Everything we have tried was delicious! They do birria a bit differently than most in town, but the meat is the most tender I have had. Large portions at fair prices, we will definitely be back. Service Dine in

The person at the counter was very rude and my food took forever and came out cold. The portion was generous but the flavors were pretty boring. I usually give the benefit of the doubt but this happened both the times I went here a few months apart. Seriously some of the worst customer service I've experienced in Bellingham. Me & my kids usually make it a trip when we head south. Finnally they are here in Bellingham!! I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 due to a limited menu in comparison to birrieria tijuana in Lynnwood. Also, my order got lost and so my food came Bout 20 mins after all the other food. DONT SLEEP ON THESE GUYS. don't forget to order the consume, u need it to dip your tacos in!

If you want to try authentic Mexican food this would be a great place to start. They offer a huge variety of options and I haven't been able to try them all but I always try something new here and it never disappoints. You can find tacos, quesadillas, platillos, Mexican street food snacks in many presentations so there is something for everyone. Salsas are spot on WHICH is heavily important if you want tacos. Tacos cannot be good if the salsa is not it. And they also have a nice variety like avocado, roja, verde and so on. Also, did I mention you can have as much salsa as you want? In Mexico that's the way to do it, I hate going to Mexican restaurants and having only a spoon of salsa. Great place, great food, maybe the interior could have a bit more love but other than that, you'll feel right in Mexico.
