The food here is so good! Their meat couscous and vegetables tagine is amazing! It is an open space so cats would be everywhere, which makes it a bit challenging to enjoy your food (yup, they attempt to jump to your table). Overall, food was really good. Absolutely fantastic. Best meal in morocco to date. Service was excellent. We were also treated to bread, olives, harissa and eggplant while we waited for our meals. Would definitely return, very reasonably priced, good quality and quick. Delicious food! Centrally located across from the Kasbah, I was thrilled to find some different tasty vegan options. We had the falafel and tajine - both were so good, we went back again the next day! Service was great and the food presentation was lovely. Woww! I’m so happy I’ve found this place. I have been in Morocco for 8 days and travelled from Marrakech to many places. I have tried many restaurants but this is by far my favourite. They have incredible vegetarian options, fresh, tasty and healthy. The price is great and the portion size could easily feed 2. The service is amazing Lofte and Mohamed were both great and helped me with a charger and a special food request I had. Don’t walk here, run!! Best tagine (tajin) I had in Morocco and I had the vegan one but honestly even a meat eater would have devoured it and have been over the moon. It had four different types of dishes in it offering different flavour profiles but they all complemented one another beautifully and it was one of the best meals I’ve ever had in my life. Amazing service and location too, just opposite the mosque which is attached to the old kasbah in the main square so easy to find. Don’t be fooled by the tourist traps and eat here instead. We chose this restaurant based on the reviews as it was described best in the town. Alas, it was the opposite experience. Totally unedible. We ordered the chicken Tagine, and it was clearly reheated several times as the chicken surface was really dry and tasted like old chicken. It felt like eating old leftovers that were microwaved. It was so unappetizing that we fed it to the street cats. They served it with soggy fries. The host was not even welcoming or kind and kept pressuring to buy the most expensive items on the menu while he had food in his beard(unhygienic). Best place we ate at in Chefchaouen. So good, we went back a second night. Great location on main square in The Medina. Friendly staff and delicious food at excellent prices.
