Not that we needed another chicken place but it didn’t disappoint. Chicken was juicy and crispy and well seasoned. Not greasy. I appreciate that. The salad was surprisingly very fresh with good ingredients. I loved their style of fries as well. Wide but thin. Portions are generous too. Will definitely go back to try other things. This was not a great experience and I probably won’t be back. The place looks awesome inside and outside and I was greeted with mediocre service. I ordered the chicken sandwich and sweet potato waffle fries. The fries were pretty good and that sauce is really good too. The sandwich came out with a pretty cold and stale bun and the chicken was cold and slightly soggy. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

Ugh...I wanted to love this place! BUT that Mac n Cheese was the worst I've ever had ANYWHERE. It LOOKED good, but...you can NOT show up at the cookout with that! The sandwich was big tho! Could only eat half. Unfortunately it didn't hit like I was thinking it would. The fries were good, but basically unseasoned. I just don't know, it could've been better. 😔 Service Take out Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 3

EXPENSIVE fast food that doesn't quite measure up. TL:DR The food wasn't terrible. But it wasn't amazing. It wasn't even great. Head for Slim Chickens, Caines, Popeyes, or Chick-fil-A for a better (and cheaper) chicken sandwich. Details: I had been excited for another chicken option in town (I'm one of those weird ones who can't get enough chicken) and I finally got a chance to try this on a Sunday afternoon. Drive through was pretty full, but I was surprised by how empty the lobby was for a place that only opened a few weeks ago. They sandwich menu looked amazing - a bunch of variety and some really good options! I was also excited to try the mac and cheese. We ordered a couple of sandwiches to try, but ran into a snag when they didn't have any lettuce for their salads. Ordered some grilled strips instead. The food came out relatively quickly, but they had given us breaded instead of grilled strips. They corrected it, but it took almost 20 minutes for the new strips to come out. Otherwise, the staff was nice and friendly. The sandwiches were... good. Not great. Chicken wasn't dry, and it was about the size of any normal chicken sandwich. Fries were very similar to Red Robin - but more thin, so they end up being crunchy in some cases. The variety of sauces was really great! Mac and cheese was very disappointing. Not cheesy enough, fairly bland, and more dry than I expected. In my opinion, there really is no reason to choose Big Chicken over any other fast food chicken place as far as taste goes. When you take into account that a sandwich (with no side or drink) costs $10, it puts this place firmly in the "no-thank-you" column for me. I come here at least once a week - super clean, friendly employees, and good food. I want to give a BIG shout out to the employees working tonight though - I came in late and ordered shakes for me and my husband. He had ordered a salted caramel one - and when I got it, it looked kinda nutty. He has a nut allergy, so I tried it, and it tasted… a little nutty. I quickly pulled up the nutrition info on their website and discover the salted caramel shake has peanuts and tree nuts - whoops! My sweet husband was just going to forgo the shake he drove us across town to get, but I went back in to see if they would be willing to swap it for us - and they did 😭. They even pulled the ice cream base from the back to make sure the ice cream didn’t have nuts because their in-store chart said all the shakes has nuts. Thank you to all of the sweet ladies that came together and made sure my husband had a shake too (and wasn’t gonna die drinking it) ❤️ Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Best chicken I have had in a long time. I had the Grillled Cheese Chicken Sandwich (without the bbq sauce). The bread, cheese and chicken were so good. The fries were thinner steak fries - super good. The employees were so extra helpful and explained sauces. Yummy looking Lemonade and Pepsi fountain drinks (shakes look tasty). I am looking forward to more locations opening. Onlynimprovement was the temperature of the dining area. It was absolutely freezing. The restaurant was very clean, and the staff was friendly. Bathrooms were pretty clean but the paper towels dispenser was broken, so they laid it up top for everyone to touch which is kinda gross to me. The wife said the paper towels were out in the women's bathroom which is kinda concerning with being new I figured it would be checked very often. Chicken was pretty tasty but wouldn't say it's any better than Popeyes or canes but way more expensive. You're talking about $10 for a sandwich which is super high I feel like for just the sandwich. Overall it was good but probably my only visit due to the price. Service Dine in Meal type Lunch Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
The food was really really good, smelled amazing as soon as I got it and looks stunning. I got the Uncle Jerome’s and some Dirty Fries with it. And all I can say is, if you like spicy food, Uncle Jerome has got you covered. That was probably the spiciest thing I have ever put in my mouth and I was only able to eat half the sandwich because my mouth was on fire from the generations worth of fermenting for the spices used for that sandwich. Dirty fries were pretty good tho, very interesting fry style, like flat potato wedges 😎 Service Take out Meal type Dinner Price per person $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
There is absolutely no way I can justify paying $18+ for a burger that has the same width as a ketchup packet and their "dirty" fries, as they're called on the menu, that barely had any sauce or toppings. I guess the only item that was somewhat worthy was the chocolate shake at $6...I had high hopes for this place but it was totally not worth it. TL;DR - Big Chicken is the closest thing to a culinary experience you are going to get on the "Chicken Strip" that is MLK. Stopped in with the wife and kiddo. This place is awesome and honestly unexpected as I thought, "Great, another chicken place on MLK" They do chicken sandwiches and do them well. Chicken is juicy, breading is crispy with a healthy amount of spice. The sandwich toppings are unique and well thought out. I also had the sweet potato fries and a peanut butter shake. Delicious. Period. The hard sell is the price. On the surface it seems high. But good food ain't cheap and cheap food ain't good. If you want cheap chicken go to McDonald's. If you just want strips and fries, go to Cane's or Slims. For those that scream, "But Chick-fil-A makes the best sandwich and it's cheaper" remember they charge you 5 bucks for a 4 oz filet with no soul in the food. That's $20 a pound for a sandwich that has been engineered to generate maximum profit (chicken, white bread and two pickle chips.... Think about it) Big Chicken is the closest thing to a culinary experience you are going to get on the "Chicken Strip" that is MLK. I'll be back. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
