Today was my first time visiting Big Apple Bagel. Waiting for my order one of the things that I noticed people there are fellow friends at 10am on a Friday. As I said, around a while, I noticed community at this location. I don’t know if it was the owner or one of the employees, but they were going around talking to everybody, gauging with them, seeing how their day was going it was quite heartwarming. One thing I can say for sure is that I’ll be back soon not just for the delicious bagels but also start to integrate myself into seems to be a great community of people.

I called ahead and ordered bagels for pickup. When I arrived, they were ready and freshly made but needed to be put in a bag and some cream included. According to my receipt, a young lady named Shyla helped me. She was so cheerful and efficient that she was a real lift for me. I believe she is relatively new and learning where everything is, but I appreciated her help. Service Take out Meal type Other Price per person $10–20

These guys are amazing, I placed a small catering order online and accidentally got the pick up time wrong. When I came in of course my order was t ready but everyone there was professional and courteous at getting my order ready for me right then and there, getting me to my meeting on time, 100% would recommend. It's been quite a while since my last visit to Big Apple Bagels, at least 8 months. Not sure what is going on, but it's not a good thing! Yesterday I stopped and bought a dozen of the basic bagels for $19.00 (there was an additional charge for any of the specialty bagels) I opted not to get the bagel/cream cheese "deal" for $29.00!!! I also purchased two sandwiches (my total bill without tip was $38). The sandwiches were nothing special (disappointing actually), the bagels seem smaller and less soft on the inside, almost day old. I absolutely loved Big Apple Bagels but I'm afraid I'll be looking for their replacement! Their taste just doesn't live up to the high price. What a shame. Great pkace to get a fast (not fast food) breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. Many vegetarian opinions. Public services friendly. Many more opinions/choices then I expected when I furst walked in. Easy to go in and get fast breakfast that tastes good. Was craving bagels and decided to go here vs Bubbie's because they offered dine in. I got a breakfast sandwich and the French toast one. For the breakfast one, the bagel was pretty great and wanted to eat that by itself. The French toast one was too sweet for me since I did the cinnamon sugar bagel. I had to order savory cream cheese to balance out the flavor. Prices were decent for both. I recommend this place if you want bagels or bagel sandwiches. It's pretty nice. Removing one star because they had no ketchup at all lol I really like ketchup on my egg sandwiches.

It's sad when a place you've gone to for years and years has a noticeable decline in the span of just a few months. The muffin options have been lacking lately and the ones they do have taste different. They used to have homemade brownies and cookies. Now there's no brownies and the cookies appear to be store brand. My granddaughter loved getting a handmade cake pop when we would come in on Sundays, but those don't seem to be present anymore. The last time I went in, there was no sense of urgency by the staff. There was hardly any guests in the restaurant. Employees using their phones, only using one register with one clearly open. Customers notice these things. Bagel sandwich quality is less than it used to be. If you go late in the day, be prepared to have a limited selection (that is not their fault-- just the nature of a bakery and going late in the day. So that one is on me). Can definitely tell the old owner and management team are no longer there; and sadly, that's not necessarily a good thing. Hopefully smoother sailing ahead for them.

My husband dropped me off across the street, there was a fast food joint, that I rarely go to..But when I saw there was a Big apple bagel across the st..i had to..😋 the min I walk in greeted by a smile, and a warm atmosphere..😊 went to find a seat, while I wait for my bagel & looking for restroom to wash hands..And to my surprise like 10 Shariff police officer having breakfast too..i didn't see a their vehicles.😁😎 I had garlic with plain cream cheese. Which was nice and BIG and warm.. thank you. Ryan, the owner, is an extremely passionate customer centric person. He is always cheerful and takes time to get to know each patron. His staff has a high bar to reach, but I've been pleasantly pleased with service there. The freshness of the products gets 5 stars as well. I've taken bags of bagels home and they were fresh every time.
