I recently had the pleasure of dining at Beach House restaurant and staying at their hotel in Habaraduwa, and it was a delightful experience. The restaurant offers an array of very good soups that were not only flavorful but also beautifully presented. The menu was diverse, and the quality of the food was evident. The ambiance was serene, with a soothing view of the beach, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing meal. The hotel, with its clean and original rooms, exceeded my expectations. Each room had a unique and charming design that provided a cozy atmosphere. The best part was the easy access to the private beach, allowing guests to unwind in a peaceful setting.

Great spot and very very good value for money. All rooms have A/C and are right on the beach, with beach views. Only 5 rooms although some are large family rooms. Great staff and owner very friendly and responsive, with good English language skills. Will suit those wanting a cheap and authentic experience in a local place that can accommodate short or long stays. Been to Sri Lanka twice for a total of 7 weeks and this was a perfect blend of ultra low cost, amenity and friendly service, all on the beach in a very convenient location. Shops and restaurants all nearby.

We went here for an evening meal and arrived to an empty, off season restaurant. The owner and his family jumped up and proceeded to make us so welcome. Gin and tonics were served and orders taken for devilled chicken with rice and tandoori chicken massala with rotis for my wife. Yes we waited a while (more gin and tonics) but when the freshly cooked food arrived it was a masterpiece. Spicy as requested, tasty, beautifully presented and given with wonderful smiling service from the whole family. Well done we will visit again.

Excellent and very friendly service. Great rooms with large bathrooms. Breakfast and lunch were delicious! One of the few kitchens that know how to make a decent cup of coffee. We're very fond of this beach area. It's quiet and near empty. We stopped in for lunch at Beach House because of the good rating and beach access. We were very impressed with the food and service. The staff was very kind. It's a magical location.
