Over all we had a good experience, food wise. The staff sucks
I was here twice on consecutive days and on both days the food quality was excellent!
Good coffees, amazing menu and really good juices too.
The problem is the service! You have to firstly find a table and then order standing in a long long queue. Once ordered they can take anywhere between 15 mins to 45 mins of waiting time.
And let me tell you, if you have any special requests or instructions THEY DO NOT FOLLOW IT!
It could be due to lack of English or may be there are just super busy.
The staff is also not very friendly. Some are super grumpy and others don’t care.
For the price you are paying here I feel the staff needs to be a little more friendly.

Lovely place, amazing breakfast, sourdough is perfect! A lot of options to add to your slice of sourdough or sourdough roll. Love it with salmon, avocado and cheddar.
I’m also a fan of gone green smoothie bowl, it made from avocado and spinach with adds what you want. I get goji berry, mango/passion fruit and granola. Yummy 😋

We heard the buzz about how good this place is, so we thought it was worth it to come. We was not disappointed! Beautiful artisan vibe and a great place to open the laptop and work.
The food is yummy, especially the burned basque cheesecake, and the sourdough bread is so crispy on the outside and fluffy in the middle.
Lots of healthy juices and smoothies with carefully selected ingredients, like blue spirulina.
You can also view into the kitchen creating a great transparency between you and the food preparation. Authentically artisan experience!

Bartels Cafe, with its early opening at 7 am, initially seemed like an ideal spot for a morning meal. However, my experience was less than satisfactory due to the excessive noise from the kitchen, making it challenging to have a peaceful conversation. The staff's approach to customer feedback was disappointing, often resorting to excuses rather than constructive solutions. Furthermore, the service speed for items like croissants was slow, and the staff's overall demeanor lacked the expected level of politeness. Given these experiences, I currently cannot recommend this cafe for a visit. It's worth noting that in my opinion, the cafe seems overrated considering the issues encountered during my visit. Improvements in customer service, noise management, and staff behavior would be necessary for a better dining experience.

The best sourdough we’ve ever had!! Wish we could have that everyday. Chicken Sriracha was amazing as well as grilled ham & cheese with mustard and jalapeño. Great coffee and super chill place 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Very spacious cafe, parking is easy too if you are driving.

Place was too crowded all day with people and loud noises. Food was average and a bit on the pricey side. Vibe and music was good. They played songs like Steve lacy, Sjogren and chill music so i kinda enjoy the place. There is an open kitchen where we can see how they bake bread. Parking spot available. In peak hour, there were hardly any table left and each table was so close together that I could hear the whole conversation from the table nearby and i had to act like I didnt anything

Open Sesame Salmon
This is a nice place to have breakfast if you’re in the area, had a good menu with lots of options for breakfast. We ordered the scrambled egg & avocado on sourdough, open sesame salmon on sourdough along with two drinks. The meal was enjoyable, nice flavor and the coffee was good as well. The bread was hard to cut but still the taste was perfect.
The location is good and easy to find and locate and the cafe has many seating areas to accommodate.
Staff is polite and understands English very well and are great at communicating.

Went there for breakfast yesterday and it was packed. There’s no place to sit inside so I sat outside and I just let the staff know can you please give me a table on the inside because it was really hot outside yesterday!!
The staff are super nice, very accommodating, and considering how busy it was they were handling everything really well!
How do you recommend Tahir to the one in Bangkok and I love it but a sourdough bread as well had them slice it for Takeaway!!
