We visited here while on holiday, fish was awesome and the portion was huge. Inside had a pub type feel with TVs mounted all around for patrons to watch sports game. The prices are very reasonable considering the amount of food that is served. Waiters are friendly and efficient. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
Drinks were good, food not so much. Had to send back the steak as it was uneatable.. The offered to replace it but by that time I lost my appetite.
Very very good restaurant. Well organised and properly run. Seating is comfortable and the atmosphere is great with the occasional live music. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. It's very popular so booking is advised. Wednesdays they have seafood specials. Really good restaurant, great for family too. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
I was a miss led by the good reviews. The seating looked worn and tired with the seat covers worn through to the backing canvas. No atmosphere what so ever.. I ordered the peri peri chicken. No hint of peri peri and for the They first time in my life I tasted tough chicken. The calamari was excellent though. Meal type Dinner Price per person R 250–300 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1
Extra Welcoming And really great service! Food was the cherry on top! Food: 5 Service: 5
3/5 - VERY busy which results in delays and not getting order timeously. Food OK So wife and I were planning on having sushi however when we past Barn & Barrel we saw one of the patrons eating what looked like an appetizing Fully Loaded Chips - this was the deciding factor to give it a try. When we arrived place was not so busy, waiter took our drink order and then recommended that we try the Focaccia (with onions and feta). We enjoy it when recommendations are made, so agreed. For mains I ordered the Nachos and wife ordered the Fully Loaded Fries with Bacon. The Focaccia arrived and you can see by size of the fork in the picture that it is about 30cm x 30cm in size. It was good and the garlic and chilli added to the flavor. The mains arrived. My Nachos and wife's Fully Loaded Fries were both OK - nothing spectacular just OK. What got to me however was when I asked for the bill (after we had our meal) only then did the waiter realise that he hadn't brought me my milkshake and hastily brought it thru. Maybe another time when they not so busy it might change my rating.
Fabulous!!!!! The best venue for a party. Actually, breakfast is also very good. Can't say enough good things about this place. Service Dine in Meal type Dinner Price per person R 100–150 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes Seafood
Great atmosphere. A lot of nice craft beers on tap, I recommend the newland springs blonde ale which is easily one of the best beers I have tasted. Food is great and you definitely get your moneys worth. Overall a great pub and grub experience.
It was the rugby world cup final. I asked for one cocktail but was told I would only be able to get it once the game finished. I was not impressed Food: 4 Service: 2
