very rude people. we went there as group of 12 people to celebrate a birthday. firstly they need a reservation. secondly sneakers not allowed. we do respect their terms but there can be a better way to tell. the reception was extremely rude and we didn’t go inside and opted to celebrate in another place where they welcomed us
The security guard at the door extorted money from us for enter ,he saying that one of us was wearing sneakers, so he asked to pay him 30,000 but many people came in wearing sneakers. The staff at the door must be crazy poor.shame on you
I have been in this place in 2016-2018. It was the most and best upscale bar in Almaty city. I am in California since 2018, but if I had an opportunity, I would visit this bar again for nice music, great choice of drinks and food, interesting public and social experience. By the way, the whole district is full of upscale bars, restants, and cafes. I spent usually around $150.

The cocktails are really interesting taste, the food is small portions, just as a snacks with drinks will be ok, but not as proper dinner.
Security outside gave us the enter with no issues. The Dj and music is super.
Enjoyable atmosphere outside on the high tables. Waiters sometimes took a long time for waiting for the order, becz the place was fully with guests.

It was okay. I'd give the food three stars but then the service was great so I bumped the overall rating up to four stars. We went with a couple friends from work. One of us had sushi, it tasted like any generic sushi and pizza joint sushi would, one had salmon it was okay, a little over cooked for salmon, but I think that's a think here in Kazakhstan because I've noticed a pattern at restaurants, one had the dorado, it was good, and I had the shrimp salad, it was probably the best out of our four dishes and that's not saying a lot because it could have been better. There were pros and cons. It had a cranberry sauce with a bite to it I really loved and the shrimp were perfect, but they put way too much dressing on the whole thing, I couldn't taste the vegetables at all. You know when you give a little kid the dressing bottle and they pour half of it on their salad before you notice? That's what it felt like while I was eating the shrimp salad. The flavor was great!! There was just too much of it! I couldn't even finish it. I gave the last quarter of my salad to my husband. My salad!! I couldn't finish a salad!!! So, if you're one of those people that actually likes salad or, heaven forbid, you're on a diet, I can recommend their shrimp salad but ask them to use half the normal amount of dressing.
