Extremely friendly staff, they really love what they do here. Expect nothing less from this group with other excellent bars around Sydney. The house martini was as it should be, delightfully cold and dry. Great cocktails as well, with really unique elements elevatating the experience. Absolutely love a free bar snack and the popcorn didn't disappoint! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Bar planet is one of my favourite bars on this planet. The vibes are immaculate. I have even seen people reading books at the bar. The candle light is gorgeous and the free popcorn is delicious. The scorpino is like a perfect, dirty slushy. The other night the special was a breakfast Martini and it did not disappoint at ALL. They are always striving for something new and interesting, so it is always worth poking my head in for a quick swig. Last time I was there they even had a lady drawing the special drink on the menu and explaining it what an awesome touch and truly something that would only happen at bar planet! Fantastic! Brilliant service, and the best dirty dirty martini I've ever had. The popcorn alone is enough to get us hooked! We were greeted by a friendly server and a bag of warm salty popcorn. Our order was promptly taken, and it wasn't long before we were sipping on some ridiculously good drinks. Highly recommended. Price per person $80–100 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

When in Newtown I always pop in for a sneaky Martini or delicious cocktail. I love that your Martini is completely customisable to however you like it. Gin? Vodka? Brine? Olives? Salt and Pepper? whatever you want even pick your size and strength. Don't get me started on the complimentary popcorn! It's so good, as if they are drowned in chicken salt but in a good way. If your a sour/citrus lover you have to try the Sunbeam - just perfect.

This is me and my friends’ favourite bar! We love coming here when we we hang out. The drinks are so good and staff is very nice and fun! The free popcorn is so good. It can get very packed on weekends though so it’s better to come not too late to get a good seat!
