We indulge our first day of the yr lunch there. Ordered way too much so the spice infused dishes were overwhelming and filling us very fast.
It s not cheap as whatever you order it will be charge per person opposed to ordering one dish and share family style.
Def didn't feel like local prices even though it was mainly visited by local. Nice rural setting and staff.

Betel Crab Curry
This restaurant offers authentic local Samui-style cuisine. It's advisable to make a reservation at least a day in advance, as they prepare ingredients based on bookings. If you decide to drop by without a reservation, try contacting them in the morning for a lunch spot. The menu is not as extensive for last-minute reservations. The overall taste is excellent, with fresh seafood ingredients and generous portions. They even provide complimentary local desserts.
It’s located in a hidden alley within a fruit garden, close to the Hinlat waterfall temple. After your meal, you can park at the temple and take a walk to the waterfall nearby. The entrance road is steep and a bit narrow, especially during the rainy season, but it's worth overcoming the challenges to savor the delicious food here.

The finest in genuine Thai southern cuisine on Koh Samui! This marks my second visit, and it's as delightful as ever.
I strongly recommend making a reservation in advance to ensure you secure a table.
My personal favorites include:
- Kang Som Pla (แกงส้มปลา)
- Goong phad Sator (กุ้งผัดสะตอ)
I assure you, you'll leave with a full belly and a happy smile.
Prices are incredibly reasonable, averaging around 200-300 THB per dish!
Just one small note, you may need a car to get here becaus the restaurant is tucked away a bit from the main road, and the access road is somewhat narrow.

The restaurant is located in a secluded area, and overall, the dining experience left a lasting impression.
Firstly, the ambiance of the restaurant was truly serene, surrounded by nature, which made it very relaxing. However, due to its remote location, there were quite a few mosquitoes and insects. I recommend visitors to bring mosquito repellent to make the experience more enjoyable.
As for the dishes, their fresh and delicious oysters were definitely the highlight of the meal. The oysters were succulent and left me craving for more.
However, the other Thai dishes were rather ordinary and didn't stand out. While the flavors were decent, there weren't any particularly exciting elements.
It requires prior booking, and the owner takes time to reply with the pricing, which can be somewhat inconvenient.
The overall price was on the higher side, especially considering the relatively expensive main courses. This might make some guests feel that it's not the best value for money.

Hidden restaurant in Samui, located a few KM from main road. You will definitely need reservation. The food is very authentic local. It is worth to spare your time to go off route visiting this restaurant.
