We stopped by for breakfast after completing the Tet Paul trail. The Bamboo Restaurant wasn’t open, but we didn’t know that until after we were already seated. It was a breakfast buffet for their guests that we were informed was the available breakfast. It wasn’t bad food, but was also clearly for their guests. The cocoa tea was very good. What wasn’t amazing was the bill. We were told to pay at the front desk. The front desk didn’t know how much to charge so they called their manager. We were charged $50 USD/person for not a lot of food and two cups of cocoa tea. I wouldn’t recommend stopping here for anything. Prices were outrageous and the food wasn’t anything to remember. The best thing about this restaurant is that most of the ingredients come from the local garden. It’s nice to enjoy local growing tomatoes, lettuce, cucumbers and other veggies. The food is not too cheap, but i think price-quality is great for the Caribbean. All star the the restaurant was very friendly, too.

The staff did their best to accommodate us during closing hours and without a formal reservation in this pandemic. The drinks were good, the food was just ok, the decor was nice! It was my birthday; they played happy birthday tunes and wished me well; that was the highlight of my night. Thank you Bamboo!

Had fish cakes and chicken Caesar salad for appetizers and red snapper for main. Fish cakes were two small nugget sized bites for $12 usd were dry with little flavour definitely not worth it. The red snapper main was alright. Overall our group spent over $500 CAD and would not go back. Service could have been more friendly and attentive. Meal type Dinner

The grounds are simply beautiful, the ambiance serene, relaxing, lovely! The staff very helpful and friendly. The food for me was not remarkable and did leave me a bit wanting. The chocolate cake was quite delicious, it's what I enjoyed the most. The rum punch was good as well. Would not do buffet lunch again but will perhaps try ordering a la carte next time. Would give this place another chance.
The food is absolutely delicious- I couldn't fault it. A beautiful atmosphere and stunning surroundings. That being said, it was all let down by an average wait time of 50 minutes to an hour (even for something as simple as a bowl of chips). We stayed at Fond Doux and so dined at the restaurant on several occasions, for both lunch and dinner, learning to head for food way before we were hungry so it'd arrive in time for when we actually wanted to eat.
