I had Affogato and coffee here.
But I was not sure if what I got was Affogato?
This restaurant’s Affogato is half-melt ice-cream floating on coffee. As you can see in the photo it was like this when it was brought to me.
Sooooo disappointed.
Coffee was okay.
Restaurant itself looks cosy and clean. But stuffs aren’t very friendly or welcoming.

Review changed from 4* to 2* due to rude and hostile response from owners, and re-totalling our food from menu images which appears we had been ripped off, so don’t bother going here!
Considering I originally left a really nice review stating I enjoyed my meal but found it a little more expensive than what I was used to (we had been eating at food markets for less than £2 a meal a night), so to have a meal which totalled 458,000 Kip for a small beer (around 30,000 more or less) large beer (around 30,000 more or less) garlic bread (45,000), pesto spaghetti (65,000) and a bamboo burger (98,000); it was actually rather expensive than what we normally spent on dinner! From the comments left by the owners saying our meals were under £10 each, we can’t add up sums properly, and we are the worst type of travellers especially English people, I’d say if our meals were actually less than £10 each, we were ripped off in some form of another! Now adding up what we had on the menu, it seems we were ripped off, should have been a total of 268,000 Kip, not 458,000 Kip!! So avoid this restaurant and save your buck! Plenty of other nice restaurants in Vang Vieng!

Nice modern restaurant serving western dishes in the heart of Vang Vieng. Both my partner and I had previously been ill so fancied some comfort food from home to feel better! Between two of us, we had cheesy garlic bread, which is the best we had in Asia so far, a pesto and chicken spaghetti (unfortunately didn’t taste like normal pesto but still really good), burger and fries, and one small beer and one large beer. Food was nice but came to a total of £17 (equivalent) which was the most expensive meal we’ve had in Southeast Asia so far!

We came here for breakfast twice and dinner once. Breakfast great and reasonably priced. All day menu has a mix of local and western food so you can get whatever you fancy. Well priced and good food. And you can pay by card - bonus!

Solid 3.5 stars. We had the chicken wings, chicken pesto burger and Bamboo burger. The food was decent, although nothing to rave about. There was a misunderstanding with my chicken burger (I asked if it was chicken breast and they said yes, then it turned out to be a minced chicken patty). The staff replaced the patty with a crumbed chicken breast, which I appreciate. 🙏 Definitely a bit longer wait time altogether for food, particularly in the beginning, as the waiter never put our order through despite us being the only customers in the restaurant.

This place has potential to be one of the best on the street. The menu is unbelievable. I sat there for 5-10 minutes flipping through trying to narrow down. It's also one of the easiest to read Menus for all tourists. They have absolutely everything here. Pumpkin soup and papaya salad and burgers are really good. I wouldn't get pizza here though it was kinda basic . Great staff. Great garden in the back too.

Bamboo Burger
We had dinner here last night and the food was good. The four cheese pizza was good but you can tell the base is not made in house. The bamboo burger was better, nicely cooked meat. The problem was our food came out separately, around 20 minutes gap between them. So my partner had finished her pizza long before my burger arrived.

Tasty food- I had a labe which was fragrant with mint and onions. It had a lovely chilli hum but it wasn't too much and no sign of fish sauce. My friend had a western dish of spaghetti with garlic, chilli and garlic bread which was a large portion with a fresh garlic taste. We would highly recommend and the staff were friendly and humble people.
